In 2019, I got into Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology through the WBJEE rank. Honestly, when I first arrived on campus, I wasn't too thrilled about its small size and limited facilities. But you know what? As time went by, something amazing happened - I made some incredible friends. They completely turned things around for me and made my college experience much better. It's not always about the campus size or the fancy facilities. It's the people you meet and the memories you create that truly make a difference. And that's exactly what happened here. My friends and I have shared unforgettable moments that have made this place feel like home. Living in Kolkata has its perks too. We've had the opportunity to explore so many amazing places that have made our college life interesting and memorable. From historical landmarks to vibrant markets and delicious street food, Kolkata has its own charm that adds excitement to our journey. These adventures have made our college days even more special. Now, let's talk about the faculty. They are highly knowledgeable and experts in their fields. Their expertise has made the learning experience so much better. They go the extra mile to ensure that we understand the subjects well and are always available to help us with our doubts. Their dedication to teaching has had a positive impact on our academic growth. So, in conclusion, if you're looking for a college where you can gain good knowledge through your classes and have the opportunity to explore beautiful places, Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology is worth considering.

In 2019, I got admitted to Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology through WBJEE rank. To be eligible, an aspirant has to pass class 12th exams from a recognized board. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology were mandatory subjects. Minimum percentage in these subjects varied for different B. Tech specializations. Remember, admission requirements can change, so check MSIT Kolkata's official website or contact the admission department. I chose to pursue Electrical Engineering because I've always had a deep fascination for electrical and electronic gadgets.

The faculty members who teach us in the field of Electrical Engineering are really amazing. They are super knowledgeable and experienced. They have completed their Master's and Ph. D. degrees, which mean they are experts in their field. When it comes to exams, our college is really organized. The term exams are conducted on time, and we always have a predefined schedule to follow. This helps us to plan and prepare well in advance for our exams. Having such qualified faculty members and a well-structured exam system makes our learning experience smooth and enjoyable.

In our college, starting from the 6th semester, students become eligible to participate in campus placements. Many well-known companies like Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Cognizant, Byjus, Uber, and others visit our campus to hire students. The average package offered to students in our college is around 4 LPA which is a good starting point for a career. The highest package offered is 32 LPA which is really impressive. In our college almost everyone gets placed in a company.

Our college do not have hostel.

In our college, the buildings and campus are a bit small, and we don't have a playground to play sports. The classrooms in our college are cleaned every single day. There are CCTV cameras inside the classrooms to make sure everyone stays safe and secure. So even though our college may not be huge, we have awesome friends, clean classrooms, and extra security measures. We can still enjoy our time and make the most out of our college experience together.

In our college, we have amazing events that everyone looks forward to like the annual fest called Advaya, the awesome tech fest called Paridhi, and the exciting Inter-College fest named Tech Extra. We also have three cool clubs where you can join and have fun namely Rotaract, Sargam, Megatronix. Although our college is a bit small and doesn't have a playground, the best part is that we have plenty of good friends around.
