Guru Jambheshwar University Best state institute in Hisar

Overall Rating
Only university specified for science and technology in Haryana. I must say it is one of the best universities in Haryana with good facilities. However it is a little bit costly than other state universities but the facility is totally worth the money. Admission process is online and entrance based. It gives equal opportunity to all who didn't score well in their previous examination.
 

Academics Rating
I did M.Sc chemistry in session 2014-16. Eligibility criteria was Graduation with chemistry as a subject with minimum 55%. An entrance exam was conducted n I got 2nd rank in that. So I got a seat in all India open category. The reason behind joining this course was my keen interest in learning chemistry and found it satisfactory to join here.
 

Faculty Rating
Every semester include four theoretical subjects and three practicals during first year. Overall 10 faculty members were enrolled in teaching process. 4 of them were professors, 3 associate professors and 3 assistant professors. All of them are PhD qualified and expertise of their fields.
 

Placement Rating
There is very less direct placement from campus. But number of students qualifying CSIR NET/JRF, GATE is very high which gives students better opportunities in research field.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 4 girls' hostel and one working women hostel. Rooms are quite spacious and airy. Food quality is also good at very nominal charges.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There were seven teaching blocks, library, auditorium, Haryana School of business, Bio Nano department, Faculty House, Administrative Block and a number of lawns to create huge greenery. There were three cafeterias at that time. Medical and emergency services are provided itself in the university. Shopping complex is available for every kind of daily usage items.
 

Campus Rating
Overall being a part of university and its all celebration makes me feel good. I have got a lot of exposure being there and better opportunities to groom my skills. Overall learning in NSS camps and youth fest was amazing.

    Hey, Friends there I am a student of GJUST located in Hisar and I am in the second year of the B.Sc data science. I had a great and fantastic experience in the university. The campus id amazing and well maintained. The faculty of the university is experienced and knowledgeable to give knowledge to the students.
