Bhadrak Autonomous college, is located in Jagannathpur village. It is almost 1 km away from the National Highway. In Odisha, this college is counted as one of the best government colleges. The atmosphere of the college was so good, and I loved the basketball court the most. The hostel system was good, the food quality was good. Overall it is a good college.

This college provides mainly 3 streams for 10+2 students namely Arts, Science, and Commerce. In every stream there are many honors subject you can take, like in Science you will get Math Honors, Physics Honors, Biology Honors, and Zoology Honors. For Arts there are Economics Honors, Political Science Honors, etc. The requirements for the admission for 10+2 students are to secure almost 80 - 90% marks in their 10th boards. It's because this college has a reputation of good students and for this the cut-off mark is so high.

The college is a government college, so the teachers teaching here got their job by the government. I was studying Arts in Economics Honors. In my department the teachers were good, and their teaching style was also good. They don't hesitate to stay sometimes Ffor longer periods even if the period time is over, if we have some confusion in subject.

In my college days, I almost stayed 5 years in the college hostel. The Hostel is a 3-floors building, and has almost 30 rooms. 4 students can stay in each room. The food of hostel is average, but the cleanness was good.

There are many blocks in the college like Arts block, Science block, Commerce block, PG block, MCA block, and Computer Science block. It also has a library. It's almost spread across 20 acres of land. The students can join NCC, in every academic year there'll be an NCC exam, and anyone can join and qualify.

I stayed there for almost 5 years, and even for a single day I never felt like I am away from home. The food of Bhadrak, the atmosphere of the people of Bhadrak, the festival celebration in bhadrak is just amazing. There is a cricket club in the college, where anyone can join.
