Oriental is one of the best colleges in Bhopal for students who are looking for placements as it provides numerous companies for placement. The Oriental Group of Institutes provides Pharmacy, Management, and Engineering Courses. The college is overall very good as it provides campus placements of up to 8-10 LPA and the faculty is also very nice and knowledgeable. As for B. Tech. Program it has many branches including AI/ML, CS, IT, EX, EC, ME, Civil, and some more. The Oriental Campus is very beautiful and spread over a large area. Also, the college makes sure for our involvement and interest by organizing various events related to all fields whether it is technical events or sports or cultural and many more. The college also provides NCC and NSS facilities and various sports tournaments.

The college provides quite a good environment for academics and quality education. The Oriental Group provides courses for Management Students, Pharmacy Students, and Engineering Students. To mention about B. Tech Program the campus has two buildings one is OIST (Oriental Institute of Science and Technology) the main and oldest branch and another is the OCT (Oriental College of Technology). Both branches provide many streams like AI/ML, Data Science, CS, IT, ME, EX, EC, Civil, and many more. For Academics the college follows the RGPV curriculum as it is affiliated with RGPV university and for learning along with classrooms the campus also provide various separate labs such as for automobile, for CS/IT it has Wipro lab, dell lab, etc.

The faculty of Oriental is very experienced and knowledgeable. Also, most of the faculty members are having Post Graduate Degrees and Ph. D degrees. Faculty Members with higher designation are very insightful and well-informed but some faculty members don't seem to have that much knowledge and experience. But overall the teaching in Oriental is good and you will find most of the faculty members very friendly, supportive, and helpful as well.

The Placement Cell of Oriental is very active for the students, especially for the final year students the placement cell has tied up with around 300 companies that recruits from our college and many of them do a mass recruitment every year. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, DXC, Capgemini, and many more take a huge bunch of students for packages up to 7.5 LPA. Oriental is having quite a good record in placements of students and the placement cell is also very supportive and always ready to help. Even for 3rd year students the placements are available. From the 1st year onwards the campus focuses on training the students in verbal, aptitude, reasoning, programming, technology, etc. to up skill them.

The Infrastructure of the OGI (Oriental Group of Institute) Campus is very beautiful and is spread over a huge area. The Campus is having a Management, Pharmacy, and two Engineering buildings. The Central Library of the college is very big and well maintained with books from all branches in separate blocks also it provides an e-library facility. The Campus is full of greenery. The classrooms are clean and there are different labs for all the branches. The auditorium of the campus is very attractive with a very nice interior and the canteen is good and its food is also very good. It also has a ground and a basketball court. Also, there is a workshop area in our campus.

The Campus Life is very good. You will enjoy your college life in Oriental as it organizes various events for students. Not only for academics but also cultural events, technical events, sports events, etc. and various competitions also. The campus every year organizes a TechFest which is mainly 2-3 days but it includes various events like fashion shows, roadies, DJ night, Talent hunt, and many more.

All students and faculties participate in these events. Apart from TechFest, there are many more activities that our college organizes which also include social services through NSS and NCC events, innovation programs, sports events, etc. Every year the college organizes Fresher’s party for the 1st semester students and farewell party for the final year students.
