My college my experience

Overall Rating
Chandigarh University is a very good university and the campus area is 750 acres. The infrastructure is lavish and well maintained. It has thousands of faculties and they are well trained and understanding. Well the overall experience of studying there is quite good but there is so much pressure for worksheets and assignments.
 

Academics Rating
As I opted for MCA from Chandigarh, the eligibility is that you should have 60% marks in graduation along with math in your 12th class. Bachelor in computer is not mandatory for MCA. For admission in the Chandigarh University one should apply through the college website and clear their entrance exam named CUCET. Thus, on the basis of their marks scholarship is given to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The college has a great study environment. The teachers and other faculties are well educated and masters of their own fields. The Chandigarh University provides a smart class environment and has a number of computer labs and soft skill labs. The teachers focus on each and every student and do their best to teach them. They also arrange class tests and unit tests for better understanding of the students.
 

Placement Rating
The Chandigarh University does have a placement cell and every year various companies come to college for recruiting students from every department. The overall placement rate is approx 85 to 90% and in our batch 80% students were placed till the final semester.
 

Hostel Rating
As I was not a hosteller so I can't share much about them but the University does have various hostels for boys and girls which are well maintained and beautiful. However, there is a time limitation as after that given time students can't go outside of hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Chandigarh University has a very huge campus and the infrastructure is also very beautiful. It is a delight to watch the buildings that are well maintained and very clean. It has a number of blocks and every block belongs to their specific department, plus every block has its own auditorium for events and seminars. Campus also has parks, fountains, grounds, and so on.
 

Campus Rating
The University has the most beautiful campus in Punjab and the life there is very happening. Most of the time the campus is crowded because of its beautiful ambience and it has a number of canteens where food is amazing. A lot of events and fests are organised by the college frequently. If I have to describe the campus life of the college in one line then it will be that it is the dream college of every student.

    Here, campus life is too good for students. They organize many events for the students’ development. There is a balance between studies and co-curricular activities.     I found this university good. I won't say it is the best university to study in but yeah it is worth studying if you aren't able to get admission in any NLU or any other better law college. Our department, I will say is the best department of the university. We have learned a lot of things from the university so far. We were welcomed by a grand event which was international law conference and our Law minister Mr. Arjun Ram Meghwal was the chief guest that day. They had also invited many other Su...     Overall, Chandigarh University is one of the best universities in India in the aspect of infrastructure, campus, co-curricular activities, sports, on-campus placements, hostel facilities, faculty, academics, etc. I choose Chandigarh University because of its good reputation for on-campus placements and academics.
