AIIMS best college to study nursing in Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
AIIMS Bhubaneswar is one of the elite medical colleges in India. It is an autonomous college with Central Government funding. The admission is solely based on the rank obtained in admission test organised by AIIMS. The college is managed by well trained teachers and principal along with the Dean and Director. Everyone is helpful here but are strict at the same time. You have to be very meticulous in studies due to the system if frequent exams.
 

Academics Rating
I joined B.Sc (H) Nursing in 2019. I will be hopefully graduating in 2023. I appeared for B.Sc (H) Nursing Entrance Exam organised by AIIMS. You need to have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects to be eligible to join this course. Nursing is a noble profession and getting a chance to study in elite college has been my dream always. The subjects are bit hard to study but they will help me in the long run. Students graduating from our college are placed by the institute in AIIMS, Bhubaneswar. But if you want to leave the city or the job, you are most welcome to do so.
 

Faculty Rating
There are thirty faculties in total in the College of Nursing. Among them are Tutors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Principal. Altogether there are more than seventy five faculties teaching the other streams. They all are extremely qualified and have mostly completed their PhDs.
 

Placement Rating
We have six months internship which trains us how it is to be an actual Nurse. All students are placed in our Hospital as Staff Nurse after they complete their graduation. So, basically 100% of students are offered placement. Their salary ranges somewhere like Rs. 40,000 and after 18 months it is increased to Rs. 76,000 approximately.
 

Hostel Rating
Girls and boys have separate hostels and the best part is that, AIIMS does not charge any hostel fees from any student whatsoever. Food provided is of good quality. We have chicken and paneer daily in our meals. The entire campus is enveloped by security personnel and we know we are safe inside the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are eight tall towers of hostels for UG students. The residential campus is separated from the hospital campus and is connected by a over head bridge. There are numerous playgrounds, cafeterias and stores from where we can buy books and other stuffs.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good in one word. The only thing that AIIMS campus lacks is a Wi-Fi connection. It may sound bit surprising, but the truth is that students have to recharge their sim cards for accessing internet.
