My life at Oriental Institute of Science and Technology Bhopal

Overall Rating
My overall college experience is very good. The Oriental Institute of Science and Technology is the 2nd best college of Bhopal in engineering. There are 6 different branches in B. Tech. There is a very big building. It is very reputed and popular in Bhopal.
 

Academics Rating
My course is on the automobile branch. To take admission to the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, you should go directly to the admission cell or give the JEE exam. There are very limited seats in the automobile branch, only 150 seats.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in my branch is very less but the teaching of our faculty is very good and some faculty are very good teaching. They are very well educated and they come from bigger or reputed institutions or they have done M.Tech.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placements cell and many students get placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have 2 girls and 1 boys’ hostel and the building is okay. The food is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The building is very good in my college there are seven blocks and it is designed very well. Inside there are two small gardens and there are 300+ classrooms and a big library. There is one big entrance and a big corridor in my college.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life at the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology is good and many students have taken admission in other branches. There are six branches, there are clubs but there are some secret clubs and there is a fest that happens named tech acme.

  • OIST Bhopal Placement Success in the IT Sector

    I looked at all the career options and institutes during the breaks of 12th. I guess I was late and therefore couldn't apply for the entrance exams to get into tier 1 institute. I agree that Oriental Institute of Science and Technology is a tier-2 institute but in two tiers, it is perhaps one of the best.     While going to institute like shifting gears from school to institute we have many questions. In my life that answer came in the form of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology as leaving school friends wasn't easy. I have found even better friends in the institute. At first I used to think that will engineering be tougher and will take a lot out of me.
