MY EXPERIENCE ON BIT Coimbatore

Overall Rating
My experience on this campus is good. The faculty of the mechanical department is friendly to the students. And many labs are available for college students and they can use them every day. The library is air-conditioned and lots of books are available in the library which the students can use from morning till evening.
 

Academics Rating
My course was on Mechanicals. I am very much interested in machines and CAD software so I chose this course. Eligibility for this course is 60% marks and above in 10th and 12th. I have applied to this course through counseling and availed this course. This was a simple process which is conducted by the government of Tamilnadu.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Coimbatore is very friendly to the students. There is a regular formative assessment test to test the student's knowledge of the respective subjects. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders. They help us in various ways to file patents and paper presentations and project competitions. The style of teaching is good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell in our institute. They mostly provide every training which help in our placement. More companies visit the college.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in our institute. The food is good. There are a total of 6 hostels available in the college for boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is good. The campus is fully Wi-Fi. The structure of the college is good. The purified water was available in college. Separate blocks are available for every department. For every query different faculties were allotted and we can approach them for any problem.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life was good. More clubs were available on campus if we are interested we can apply to their clubs. Fests like dance fest, singing fest, and Pongal celebrations happen on the college campus. An event was organised by every department and we can apply for the event. The crowd in the college is around 10,000 students.

    Overall Rating
    The overall opinion about the college is good. It is one of the top 30 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The faculties are very kind and ready to teach as many times as you want. As it is an autonomous college clearing the semesters will not be a herculean task. There will not be relative grading. The placements are very good.... Read Full Review
