Life at Marwadi University

Overall Rating
Overall if I have to rate Marwadi University out of 10 I'd probably give it a 7 if I'm comparing it with all the other universities in India. But if I am comparing it with the rest of the colleges and universities in Saurashtra I'd have to say it's the best possible option for you. You get a very aesthetic feeling as soon as you enter the college also it's home to many international students coming from 40 different countries. Also if you are looking for improving your communication skills it'd help as those guys are very kind and pleasant.
 

Academics Rating
I opted to do BCA from Marwadi University. BCA is one of the trending and most profitable degrees in this tech era but you also need the right skill to get a good package. BCA is more practical than theoretical but I'm sad to say that the college doesn't focus much on practicals instead they just want you to write as much as you can in exams. Requirements - 50% in 10th and 12th examinations.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are intelligent and full of insights but the thing is that you have to approach them first only then it'd be helpful for you. They have a good and unique way to make you understand a particular subject but as I mentioned above they should focus more on practicals instead of giving theoretical knowledge. Overall if you don't misbehave or do something out of the box you are going to get a good CGPA and get treated nicely. You just have to be disciplined enough.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Marwadi University has a placement cell and I can proudly say that if you got the right knowledge and a good CGPA, then you are getting placed somewhere. You'd start getting emails as soon you will come in the 5th semester and all the companies hiring are well known.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, they are offering hostel facilities and the food over there is also acceptable according to the fees they are demanding.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Marwadi University is one of the best I've seen among many colleges as soon as you enter the main gate you'd start getting an aesthetic feeling. There are two main buildings where in one of them students of Law and BBA are being taught and the rest of the students are in the other building. Both buildings have 6 floors each. They have an amazing football ground and cricket ground along with basketball and lawn tennis court and all the indoor games are available.
 

Campus Rating
If I have to rate campus life out of 10 I'd probably say 6. College is amazing and the campus is more than amazing but the thing I don't like is the people in this college, it may differ from person to person. Continuous activities are being set up for students that they can take part in and various clubs have been set up for different things.

    I have chosen Marwadi University because it is the only university with a low fee structure in Gujarat. They provide scholarship to the meritorious students. The university is famous because of the Computer Science and Engineering department. The University has a good infrastructure with greenery around the college, including labs and library....     I choose this university because of low fees and good academics with many opportunities. The life here is very good and it is very peaceful. I get to concentrate on my career path and help is available for me at any time if I need.     Marwadi University has an average placement and offers many different branches in the field of Commerce, Arts, Engineering Pharmacy and Physiotherapist. It also offers semester exchange programs with universities and colleges of other countries.     At Rajkot, there are not many good colleges and institutions. If you consider Saurashtra, Marwadi University has the best campus. There are a lot of issues with the university, and I am therefore confused where do I begin? I was an MBA student means management student.
