Why you should choose Ahmedabad University

Overall Rating
Ahmedabad University has an enjoyable and joyful life. You'll enjoy your college days a lot. Overall, so many events are going around the campus, making the place lively. I would strongly recommend this university if one wants to enjoy his/her college days. Also, AU makes your college life very special and does make one feel that these are the days of enjoyment.
 

Academics Rating
Talking about the academic part, Ahmedabad University is a liberal university, and thus it allows you to take courses from different disciplines, thus, it is considered very flexible in its curriculum. But, students do have to attend 80% of the classes compulsorily. And also, students do need to study a lot before exams, it's not like studying the night before exams will help you.
 

Faculty Rating
The Faculties at the University are very educated, and their teaching methodology makes the classes more interactive and enjoyable. Also, many faculties have doctorate degrees from top universities like IIMs and IITs. In general, the faculties are not that strict, but you need to submit your assignments on time.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Ahmedabad University does have a placement cell and a career development center. But, as our seniors say, the placements provided by the university are not as high or as expected as what they show. Hence, AU lacks in placements.
 

Hostel Rating
I do reside in Hostel and the hostel provided by the university is decent and has good infrastructure when compared to private PGs. Also, the hostel does celebrate every festival together which makes you feel at home. The food provided is decent and nutritious.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the University is gorgeous and big. It is located at the heart of the city and has almost all the modern facilities that foreign university has. There are mainly 4 buildings in the university's central campus, which also includes the University Centre, which is solely dedicated to student engagement and recreational activities.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is something which Ahmedabad University has the best. The clubs and fests at the university are very engaging and entertaining for the students. Also, our university has a half-day policy on Wednesdays, giving students time to live their college life and enjoy club events. Though our university does not have big concerts the students are very well skilled in music and perform it by their own.

    The overall experience I had at Ahmadabad University is average but I would say it was good in terms of extracurricular activities like sports, fests, events, crowd, etc. I joined the university in 2021 when covid-19 pandemic was going on. I had a score of 97 percentile in JEE Mains. My experience has been overall positive because the people I meet here are the best and I couldn't ask for a more beautiful and well-behaved crowd and infrastructure at university.   • My perspective about Ahmedabad University
     

    Overall Rating
    I always had a knack for research and after reading about the university and talking to some students over there I found the curriculum excellent to foster my research outlook. In the first year itself we had foundation courses that helped us in understanding how to write detailed reports and how to work with data. Apart from that we had separate dedicated courses for Language and Communication, Data Science as well as Research Methodology that were compulsory for us to attend. The teachers here...     Overall, college is amazing and worthy if you consider education wise or extra activities wise. Course curriculum is also good but the main concern is the fees only people who are more financially strong can afford, as fees was 40000 when I was studying and now it is around 1 lakh.
