Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College B.A Review By Deepak Sharma

In my experience of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, I would say it was good because there is everything which a student needed like they organise fests, cultural activities, events, etc. for the students. The classrooms are good and huge with projectors. Every department has separate rooms. The faculty is also good, they are well-qualified and highly educated in their respective fields. Big ground for open events is present on the campus. So, these are all the things that made me choose this college and I would tell other people should also choose this college because they are providing everything to a student, hence, there is no reason for a student to ignore this college.

The course which I have chosen is Bachelor of Arts and in this course, we study the humanities, history, and other arts-related subjects which are all very good. The entry requirements for this course are not too hard anyone can do it, at least during my time I got my admission on the merit basis of my 12th class board exams and till now merit basis admission is open. Eligibility for this course is just that you should have at least 80% marks in the 12th board exams and your main subject should be Arts. If we talk about my motive for enrolling in this program is just I liked the subject because it is easy for me.

There are separate professors for each subject in ARSD College and all of them are highly qualified and well-educated in their respective fields of teaching. Some of the professors have an experience of more than 15 years of teaching and some of them are Ph. D. holders. Their teaching style is also very good and practical because they use real-life examples so that students can understand more clearly and whenever a student wants to ask any questions they can. Also, the professors and the students had a social group where our teachers help students at their homes too.

Yes, this college has a placement cell and they do provide jobs to students in their final year of graduation they also provide internships to students so that they can be financially independent and remain worry-free. I also got an internship from college as a Library boy and I got a payout of Rs. 4,300 per month as a stipend.

Yes, this college does have a hostel facility but I didn't join the hostel because I had to go home daily. But there is a hostel and it is good as I have seen sometimes. The food in the canteen is good and anyone can join the hostel facility if they want to.

The infrastructure of the college is very good. There are separate buildings for each department, separate rooms for the lectures, separate rooms for practical activities of different subjects, two toilets on each floor of the building which are clean and hygienic, a library, staff room, and a canteen is also there which serves good food at low price. A huge auditorium and a huge open ground for cultural activities and events for the students are available. So, in short, the infrastructure of the college is good and well-maintained.

The campus life was phenomenal because the college organises events and fests regularly for the students and the crowd on campus was so energetic and enthusiastic about the fests and cultural activities. They also had a social media group where they talked to each other and organised plans for events, parties, etc. The crowd knows each other very well and they help each other with their problems. So, yes, the campus life of this college is good and enjoyable.
