It was overall a very fruitful experience. I learned a lot at my university, made a lot of friends and at the same time learned how it is to be an engineering student. I chose this university because it has a brand and value, it provided good placement opportunities, and the quality of education provided is also quite good. I would recommend others to join this university if they want to feel the prospect of being a good engineer.

The course is focused on a very broad curriculum. They teach you all the aspects which an engineer and a common man should understand. In the first year, they taught us the basics of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Soft Skills, English Language Skills, and many more. The admission requirement is for you to have 12th class qualification or a High School Diploma with aggregate 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Math subjects combined. You need to have an understanding of the concepts of Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics taught in your high school and be able to apply them to the concepts of engineering.

The faculties at SRM University Delhi are quite well-experienced and educated. Many of them have post-doctoral degrees and are also into research and development. Most of the faculties who taught us were quite good in their theoretical knowledge, however, all the faculties lacked practical skills and knowledge. Other than this, they were really good and considerate. They helped us in improving our thinking skills, helped us in solving problems, gave us notes on time, and were very helpful.

SRM University Delhi placements are quite good here. They provide us with ample training and feedback on how to present ourselves in interviews and help us improve our communication skills. They also provided us with real-time interview scenarios which help us to improve our performance during the interviews.

Yes, we do have hostels at our university and they are of good quality. The rooms are spacious and the food provided in the mess too is good, you are provided with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food choices of South Indian and North Indian cuisines. AC rooms are also provided but they come at a cost. Ragging and Alcohol are strictly prohibited. Overall it has a good environment.

Our campus is built on 27.04 acres of land situated along the banks of the Ganga River. Lush green trees surround the campus and the air too is quite fresh and energizing. There are 4 academic blocks’ buildings with engineering labs. The buildings are of good quality and have glass windows. We have free Wi-Fi facilities and a large ground for sports and cultural events. We also have an air-conditioned auditorium with loudspeakers and sliders.

SRM University Delhi Campus life is the best. You will find all sorts of people coming from different states and you will love the atmosphere of the crowd. All are friendly and goal-oriented. You will love the fests which happen every 2 months and gives you opportunities to explore your talent beyond academics, You will also enjoy the DJ nights which take place during fests. Celebrities also visit the campus and take part in dancing, singing, etc. If you join this institute you will come out as an all-rounder rather than a bookworm.
