My experience at Nit Raipur

Overall Rating
The NIT Raipur is situated in the main city. College is about 5 kms from Raipur railway junction and about 20 kms from Raipur Airport. College provides a decent campus life along with very good placement opportunities to the students. NIT Raipur has its own placement cell which makes students industry ready. NIT Raipur has NIRF ranking 65th among all engineering colleges in India in 2022.
 

Academics Rating
One has to qualify the JEE mains exam to get admission in the NIT Raipur with at least 95 percentile. NIT Raipur provides B.Tech course in 8 branches. It also provides M.Tech, MCA and PhD courses to the students. I choose NIT Raipur because it is well connected with the city and has decent placement opportunities for the students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members in NIT Raipur are well qualified and experienced. Many of them are PhD holders in their respective fields and others are graduated from IITs And NITs. The teaching methodology of the faculty members is very good here. Teachers at NIT Raipur clear each and every concept the classroom itself. Teachers and other faculty members are very friendly to the students and provide career guidance from time to time.
 

Placement Rating
Yes NIT Raipur has its own placement cell which makes students industry ready. Placements at NIT Raipur are very good. Average CTC is 10 lakhs per annum and the highest CTC is 2 crore which is off-campus. Top recruiting companies includes Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Siemens, Samsung, Flipkart etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes NIT Raipur provides limited hostel facilities on the basis of merit in respective semesters. It has 6 boys’ hostels and 3 girls’ hostel. The Hostel rooms are well furnished and have fast lan connectivity. Mess food in hostel is good and provides variety of food in it
 

Infrastructure Rating
NIT Raipur has good infrastructure. Campus has One Central garden, 1 Central library, Big cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground, volleyball ground, badminton court etc. The classrooms are well furnished and equipped with projectors and other facilities. NIT Raipur has one Amul parlor and two canteens in the campus itself.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at NIT Raipur is really awesome. NIT Raipur has good crowd. Students are happy here after joining. It has many clubs like E-cell, Robotics club, Nrityam The dance club, Raaga The music club and many more. NIT Raipur celebrates its annual cultural fest Eclectika in the month of February. And Samar its annual sports fest in the month of January and Aavartan (Tech fest) in the month of March every year.

    My college name is NIT Raipur. I am a Biotechnology student. I search a college which has good research and best program centre. NIT Raipur has biggest cultural fest at middle India. Inter NIT sport event also held between all NITs. Where you can perform and score a medal for you and college. It also has good facilities. But it is small college around 100 acres.   • Great College but Lacks Infrastructural

    The college is located in the heart of the capital of Chhattisgarh and provides great resources for the development of their students. The college provides a great overall experience for the student. This institution was allocated to me in the JOSAA counseling. It felt like a good choice due to its vast alumni network and good placement statistics. I recommend going for this college as it will provide a great developmental arc for its students....     I took admission in 2023 in the Electrical Engineering branch of NIT Raipur. Since, then I haven't regretted my decision of choosing this college and coming here. I am able to excel in studies due to the responsible and sincere faculty of our branch and at the same time I have been exposed to sports too and now I manage each and everything well here. Our college has life clubs and committees to gain knowledge, learn, grow and explore which is the main cause of my personality development.... Read Full Review

  • Review of my college NITRR ( National Institute of Technology , Raipur)
     

    Overall Rating
    Basically to get this college, one has to clear JEE MAINS exam with a good rank. Then after qualifying the exam, there are many counseling rounds through which you are allotted a seat in the college. I chose this college as it is a government college and many product based company come here for placements and the average package of the college is also very good like around 15 lakh per year.
