MITS GWALIOR

Overall Rating
MITS Gwalior has best campus infrastructure among the other Madhya Pradesh government colleges. It does have good classrooms and good labs for your practical work.
 

Academics Rating
MITS is an autonomous college which is affiliated to RGPV university. 2 midsem and end sem exam is been conducted by the college each semester for your course. If somehow you don’t give one or both the midsem then you can give 3rd midsem. Regular classes are held with at least 15 lectures a week. MITS Gwalior college timings are 10:00 AM to 4:00 or 6:00PM.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties do have best knowledge in their respective subject as most of the faculties are passed out from the NITs or IIITs and some of the faculty do have done their PhD from foreign universities. Faculties has kind and helping nature. professors do provide notes for your betterment so that you don't have to search for content in heavy books.
 

Placement Rating
Most of the student do get paced from the CSE or IT branch. The average package for CSE or it was 5-7 LPA and 13 LPA was the highest offer made for the year 2022.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are there for both boys and girls. Girls can stay in college hostels for entire duration of the B.Tech but for boys hostel is there for 1st year only. The fees for the hostel for boys hostel is Rs. 1,05,000/- , 62k for 1st sem and 43k for 2nd sem. after that you have to stay outside by renting room nearby the college
 

Infrastructure Rating
College do have separate buildings for different departments and has proper labs for practical work. Some of the instruments are not in working condition in most of the labs. Campus is of nearly 47 acre with two basket ball courts and 3 badminton courts and had a volley ball court too. Campus has a huge football and a cricket ground. There are 2-3 gardens for chilling.
 

Campus Rating
Good in terms of studying but you have to do more things apart from your academics. You have to develop skills on your own for internships and placements. Maintain a good CGPA for placement purpose. There are many clubs organized by the students so you can take part in those clubs too. Programmes are held in college on occasions for students as well as faculties.

    Overall experience at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science is good because the course curriculum is little relaxed for students, so they can prepare for government exams very well with institute studies. I love Math and this is the only institute where Mathematics and Computing is available so I have chosen this particular institute and branch. I want be an engineer in Computer Science field.     Madhav Institute of Technology and Science is 2nd best institute of Gwalior which became a deemed university in 2024. If you are from Gwalior or nearby Gwalior, it's okay to take admission here.     The overall Institute experience is good. The infrastructure is good. It has both old buildings and a new AI block which is really good. There's not much of a campus life as the campus is not really big and also they don't allow students inside the Institute after 6:00 PM so there's no nightlife. I chose this Institute essentially because this was in my state and I was getting a scholarship.
