NIT Hamirpur pollution free and noiseless environment

Overall Rating
NIT Hamirpur is a very good college. It's situated in Hamirpur Himachal Pradesh. My experience in this college is awesome. All the faculty and staff are very helpful. Also it's a cool place. There is less pollution also less crime, less noise etc. If you want peace you must have to come here. NIT Hamirpur is a very good location.
 

Academics Rating
In NIT Hamirpur academics are very good for all branches. I have civil engineering branch. In civil engineering the strength of my class is 123. For getting admission in this college you have to clear JEE main exam you will get decent branch on 95-96 percentile. For civil engineering as a general student you have to secure 35000-40000 rank in JEE main. I enroll in this program because I want to go for civil services and I have enough time for preparation.
 

Faculty Rating
In our branch faculty is very nice, kind hearted and helpful. They are highly qualified professors. There style of teaching is quite similar to other teachers. But you never regret after come nith. There are some professors they are extraordinary. They help you in every aspect. In civil engineering best faculty is available in all college.
 

Placement Rating
Placement in nith is quite low for core branch. But computer engineering branch there are good placement. Yes in nith have placement cell which provides placement to the students
 

Hostel Rating
In hostels you will enjoy so much. You will get almost all facilities in the hostel. Also infrastructure of the hostel is quite good. For girls there are some extra restrictions but you have to manage it. Overall you will enjoy.
 

Infrastructure Rating
NIT Hamirpur's infrastructure is very good. All the departments are well maintained. Also in campus a health centre present. Student activity centres where all the students can play indoor games also have well equipped gym for boys and girls both. For academics a central block and an administration block here. Where all the deans and director's cabin are available. A big ground also here in campus.
 

Campus Rating
In NIT Hamirpur 2 major fest are organised hill fare and nimbus. In NIT Hamirpur there are many clubs and societies which are participate in fests. Campus is less crowded. Also you get many opportunities to show your talent like college organise Aagaman for freshers also Campus Star where anyone can perform. Also you will participate in various sports like cricket, volleyball, football etc.

    In terms of infrastructure and architecture, my college resides on the top portion of our country. NIT Hamirpur is situated on a hill top of district Hamirpur and surrounded by a forest with old classically built building. The second thing which I like most in my college is the helping nature of the seniors and facilities towards the juniors.     It’s my 2nd semester here and I am really enjoying here. It's was my dream to come and study here. The college life here is quite peaceful as it is situated a few kms away from the main road. The students here are very sharp minded and their friendly nature has made me to feel home here. There is every facility which you need in your daily life.
