The review of KLNCE

Overall Rating
I choose KLNCE through the TNEA counselling and due to its good reputation in both the academics and the placement wise. I got this college through counselling. Before taking admission I asked to various students studying in the college, they all gave good comments about the college. The others should also opt for this college due to its good results throughout continuous years and good placement records.
 

Academics Rating
I choose B.Tech Information technology. I choose this course since my brother also studied IT and I had always aspired him. The eligibility to take admission through counselling is a good cutoff in class 12th. During my admission the cutoff was around 160 for my category. Many think CSE department is best for placements and is the future but the IT industry in India is also growing rapidly.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculty group is very well experienced. All the faculty have completed their masters of their respective department. They frequently use new methods of teaching to make the students better understand. All the faculties get updated with new syllabus. In KLNCE every faculty has their own way of teaching. The staffs arrange frequent practical sessions and Activities to make students involved and make them better understand.
 

Placement Rating
Our placement cell head is Mechanical department Hod. He is very friendly to the students. Every department has its own placement coordinator. Last year more than 20 to 25 companies came for placements and about 70 percentage of them got selected. The average salary offered is 5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel life is very good. The hostel is inside the campus only and just a few minutes walk from the classes. The hostel has all the facilities for the students like gym, library and TV room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is good and well maintained. Every year all the buildings are newly painted and every classroom has projectors for smart learning for the students. The library is well stocked. We can issue all the books from library. The sports facilities provided is also very good.
 

Campus Rating
Overall the campus life is good. Morning it's a 45 minute travel and evening it's 45 minute travel. In the campus frequently many competitions like symposium, quiz are conducted. The sports day is celebrated very grandly. Once Australian cricket player Brad Hogg came as chief guest. The cultural day is also celebrated very grandly with chief guest like TV show famous artists are being called. The science day was celebrated with ex ISRO chief K. Sivan.

    I got this college through counseling. This college is 10 km outward to main Madurai city. I got to know about this college through my brother who graduated in 2020. This college is overall a good engineering college in Madurai surroundings. It has good placement percentage. The fee is also very much affordable than other colleges.     I was allotted KLN College of Engineering through TNEA counseling. Our college is one of the top 3 colleges in the surrounding Madurai district. I chose the ECE department since I had a personal interest in the electronics side. I also had an interest in VLSI and the embedded field.     I got KLN College of Engineering through the counselling process. I had applied various colleges in the TNEA counselling, I had got this college through that. After that I also asked about the College to alumni and gave good things about the College. I got the seat in the 2nd round counselling.     Till now my overall experience of KLN College of Engineering is good. The college is in 11km distance from the main city Madurai. It's about 30 minutes travel distance. I choose this Institute due to its good academic results and high placement percentage. My department is EEE and I took this department due to my interest in electrical field.... Read Full Review

    It's been almost 2 years since I had joined KLN College of Engineering. My overall experience was good. I got admission through counselling. The eligibility for the counselling is 50 percentage aggregate marks in 12th. For counselling quota last year the cut off was around 170 to 173. The overall placement percentage is also good, it's almost 70 percentage.... Read Full Review
