Jhansi Agriculture University is having good infrastructure. Very good facilities are provided in the hostel. As it is a central university the fee structure is comparatively very low of about 5 to 6k per semester. The college is adjoined with two prestigious ICAR research institutes CAFRI and IGFRI. I choose this university because of its low fees and it is a central university.

There are two colleges in Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University now. College of agriculture and college of horticulture and forestry. University provides 3 degree programmes UG, PG and PhD programmes. The eligibility for UG course is one should get passed from (10+2) science background. The course B.Sc agriculture, horticulture, forestry has very good opportunities in the upcoming days. The entrance exam is conducted by NTA ICAR UG for under graduate programmes and ICAR PG for post graduate and ICAR PhD for PhD programmes. The college is good as compared to many other colleges with well maintained library and infrastructure.

Faculty in the university are from across the India. Teachers are cooperative with the students they guide us in every aspect and help us whenever we are in need. Teachers help in academic as well as in research works. Every faculty here has a qualification of PhD and teaches students in easy way which is understandable. The medium of teaching is mixed with Hindi and English. Generally presentation is used by teachers for teaching purpose.

The placement cell in the college is currently not that much functional. College is not focused on placements but students who studied in the UG programme had secured good ranks in national level entrance test and secured seats in good colleges. During the UG programme the students are exposed to various industrial trainings which help them to know about the working of an industry.

Hostel facilities are available in the university for both girls and boys. The hostel facilities are so good in the university with good infrastructure with lift facilities in the hostel building. Rooms are furnished with cupboard for keeping clothes as well as books. Room is provided with cot bed table and chair. Cooler is provided in every room to get relief in summer.

Infrastructure of the college is so good with lifts provided in academic as well as in administrative building and even in hostel. College is hi-tech separate labs are provided for different departments with separate labs for UG and pg programme. Library in the college is so beautiful and fully equipped with books related to course work. E library with nearly 100 computers are provided in the library. College is fully equipped with centralized air conditioning to escape from heat during summer.

The life in the campus is good as very peaceful. There is no pressure from academic and research. Teachers are very helpful in all aspects. University is provided with hospital inside the campus and also a bank inside it. Students here are from across the India with no local domination hence there is no place for ragging in the university. The strength of students is about 400 in the university which is not crowded. Youth fest will be conducted every year before AGRI FEST. Sports fest is also conducted in every year.
