Experience in UIET Kanpur

Overall Rating
University Institute of Engineering and Technology, overall experience is good. Mostly teachers are very friendly in nature and supportive but few teachers are very strict here. I choose this institute because I got chemical engineering branch at 256 k rank. This collage offers seats at very low ranks. You can easily get CSE and other decent branches at 100-200k ranks. After coming here I found this collage good according to my expectations.
 

Academics Rating
It offer B.Tech in Six branches that are CSE, CSE AI, IT, ECE, MECHANICAL and CHEMICAL. Earlier there used to be one more branch here that was MSME. Admission in UIET Kanpur is based upon JEE mains CRL rank. UIET CSJMU conducts its own counseling. Talking about fee structure CSE, IT, CSE AI Rs. 1,02,000 and Chemical, Mechanical, ECE Rs. 84,000.
 

Faculty Rating
Some faculty are more supportive and they try to explain the topics in easy and simple form so that everyone will understand easily. But some of faculty has bad nature and their teaching style is very bad and rude. Some of the faculty members are IITian and some are NITian. Some of them completed their PhD from IIT.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cell and they help the students in getting job. Last year A computer science student gets highest placement with 32 lakhs per annum and the average placement of this institute is 5-6 lakhs.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have residential facilities. There are 2 boys hostel and about 600 students are staying there. And there is 4 girls hostel. Facilities in the hostel are Mess, Ro water and all the essential things are there. The infrastructure is average. We have yoga meet on every weekend and we have some other cultural and sports activities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Some building are well designed and we'll developed, We have lecture hall complex which is well furnished and designed we have digital boards in the classroom. But some buildings are in very bad condition they even not well designed. Some are in very bad condition that they don't have windows and all.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is overall average. The campus is full of greenery. Students feel very good mood in the campus. We have club's in the institute like coding club, literacy club, pixelar club, cultural club, sport's club, We have two fest first one is spandan and second one is tech mela. We have some others activities and competition like essay writing, posters making competition, treasure hunt etc.

    It has been one year in this college and my overall experience is good. This college gave me environment in which I made many friends and learnt few new skills as well. I had some issues with teacher's teaching methods but overall experience is very good. I got 274 thousand ranks in JEE Mains 2022 and UIETs counselling and got CSE-AI branch. Others who want IT branch at low percentile can choose for this college.... Read Full Review

    My JEE mains ranks was low around 112 k and UIET Kanpur offered me CSE even at this rank and moreover this institute lies inside the Kanpur University that made me to choose this institute. My over-all experience in this institute is very good as it gives proper University exposure and healthy atmosphere. Anyone whose rank is above 1 lakh may go for this collage.... Read Full Review

    I am studying at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and I am perusing my B.Tech in Computer Science from this university. It’s a really wonderful college of engineering in Uttar Pradesh. It has a big campus. It has one of the biggest college stadium in Uttar Pradesh. In this college we have many type of stadiums like cricket, and volleyball and badminton.   • Campus life of Kanpur University is awesome

    Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is one of the best universities in U P. It provides many courses and engineering is one of them. The university campus life and infrastructure is very good. It provides many facilities like hostel for both girls and boys, gym, swimming etc. Faculty of the university is very friendly in nature.
