MVSR College Review

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College is good, I chose this particular institute on many reasons but the college being autonomous was the major reason out of them and other major reason being it located near to city but not so near so that I could enjoy both experiences offered by a city and a town. As The college established back in 1981 it has great experience and It improved throughout the years.
 

Academics Rating
Students can do their B.E i.e. their bachelor's or M.B.A i.e. Masters of business administration in MVSR College. In B.E the courses available are CSE, ECE, CIVIL, MECHANICAL, EEE, IT, but recently i.e. from the year 2022 the college introduced various allied branches of CSE i.e. CSM (computer science with AI & ML specialisation), CSD (computer science with Data Science specialisation) and CIC (Computer science with Cyber security, IOT, Block chain specialisation).
 

Faculty Rating
There are numerous faculty available at MVSR, including professors and asst. professors for each subject. There are also numerous number of lab assistants for each lab. The experience of each faculty varies but each faculty has their own way of teaching and the management takes frequent feedback on faculty and works on them.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell at MVSR institute. The placement cell trains the students from 1st year itself. And the college also tie-up with various companies to train students for internships and placements. The college also provides certification courses so that student can add them to their resume and land on a good job.
 

Hostel Rating
There is a boy's hostel available for MVSR students near by the college which is around 1km from the college and there is no girls’ hostel, but there are numerous private hostels around the college which are at a distance as least as 100m from the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is situated in 20 acres of land, it consists of various blocks for each course and some blocks consist of more than one branch. The college has a canteen, Maggie stall, Indoor games, Library, Basketball court, Ground, Rock garden, free place for students to sit in free time. Except for the canteen and Maggie stall every facility are available till 6 p.m and closed on Sundays.
 

Campus Rating
The overall experience is good, there are various clubs available in the college which is run by students itself, there are not so many fests but there are few. Campus crowd is maintained pretty good. There are fun fests and education fests in the college. Flash mobs are held frequently and students interested are free to participate in them.

    Missing out on IITs is never a good feeling but then MVSR happened to me. Yes, automobile engineering here is the most famous department but CSE too is equally good. Some harsh faculties and too much of practical applications but it’s all worth it as I have met some IITians during internships and it felt no different competing with them education wise.... I got seat in this college through EAMCET. Students can grow better when they are given freedom to explore and express.     MVSR Engineering College is located in Hyderabad, Telangana in Nadergul village. It is one of the oldest and finest colleges in Hyderabad established in the year 1981. MVSR provides B.E courses in the departments of CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Automobile, Civil, Mechanical Engineering. And it also has allied branches such as AIML, DATA SCIENCE, and IOT.     The major reason to choose Maturi Venkata Subba Rao Engineering College is, it is one of the top 10 colleges in Telangana. College infrastructure, good faculty and college environment are the other reasons. As I got 12000 rank it is the best option left for me.
