Experience in UIET CSJMU

Overall Rating
The overall experience in UIET Kanpur till now is good. The institute has attractive infrastructure and good faculty and services attracted me to join this institution. I found this institution better in term of labs and infrastructure but few teaching faculties need to develop modern skills. This institution situated in Kanpur University itself which provides you better exposure.
 

Academics Rating
This institution offers B.Tech in six traits that are Computer science and engineering, Computer science and engineering with specialization in AI, Chemical engineering, Information technology, Mechanical engineering and Electronics & Communication engineering. The enrollment is based on JEE Mains rank through UIET Kanpur own counseling process. This institution is affiliated by AICTE. This institute is self financed.
 

Faculty Rating
All faculty members are good, supportive and helpful in studies. All faculties are experienced and PhD in their field. They focus more on practical aspects and encourage students to develop modern skills. Every department has different departmental teachers and HoDs. But few teachers are course oriented and just focus upon book learning.
 

Placement Rating
Placement of this institution is above average. University has its own placement cell focusing upon good company arrivals. This year the highest package was 23 LPA offered by Wal-Mart. CSE placement ratio is around 80-90 percent in this institution.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is also good. Student get shared room of two which quite large. Even the mess facility is above average and mess staff is also good. Hostel is always neat and clean. Hostel has its own common hall, badminton court, basketball court. Hostel has different blocks for junior and seniors. For hostel security, guards are always available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
UIET Kanpur has good infrastructure which includes central library, different departmental building, central administrative building, and computer centre, auditorium, summing pool, gym, stadium and bank inside the campus. University has Lash green campus having trees all around. University campus size is 256 acres. CCTV cameras are installed everywhere in campus for security purpose.
 

Campus Rating
I'm enjoying very good campus life. I have friends from different courses such as Law, Health science, Arts etc. This University gives exposure to people from different corners. University has clubs like coding, literary, film, sports clubs. Fest like Technotalks, Literary Fest happens on regular bases. Alumni meet happens every year. Seniors are also supportive and friendly to all juniors.

    Overall Rating
    It has been one year in this college and my overall experience is good. This college gave me environment in which I made many friends and learnt few new skills as well. I had some issues with teacher's teaching methods but overall experience is very good. I got 274 thousand ranks in JEE Mains 2022 and UIETs counselling and got CSE-AI branch. Others who want IT branch at low percentile can choose for this college.... Read Full Review

    My JEE mains ranks was low around 112 k and UIET Kanpur offered me CSE even at this rank and moreover this institute lies inside the Kanpur University that made me to choose this institute. My over-all experience in this institute is very good as it gives proper University exposure and healthy atmosphere. Anyone whose rank is above 1 lakh may go for this collage.... Read Full Review

    I am studying at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and I am perusing my B.Tech in Computer Science from this university. It’s a really wonderful college of engineering in Uttar Pradesh. It has a big campus. It has one of the biggest college stadium in Uttar Pradesh. In this college we have many type of stadiums like cricket, and volleyball and badminton.   • Campus life of Kanpur University is awesome

    Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is one of the best universities in U P. It provides many courses and engineering is one of them. The university campus life and infrastructure is very good. It provides many facilities like hostel for both girls and boys, gym, swimming etc. Faculty of the university is very friendly in nature.
