life is amazing at GECA

Overall Rating
Institute is good and reputed. Faculty is quite good. It sometimes feels amazing to be part of something bigger. At every level of your college life you will feel proud of your college. Yes sometimes undue government procedures come in way of student affairs. But overall it is quite amazing to study in GECA. Yes its nickname is GECA.
 

Academics Rating
For getting admission in GECA Aurangabad one has to score at least 90 percentile in the MHTCET examination. The percentage requirement is actually 75 percentage in 12th standard. And percentile requirements differ for various categories. The enrollment procedure is quite easy and flexible and during admission various faculty advisors were there to help students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are quite good and each and every faculty is having respective doctorate in their respective field. They solve student doubt thoroughly. Mostly interactive teaching methodology is opted by faculty. At term end of each SEM every student is asked to fill feedback form which helps head of department to assess teacher success rate.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell is quite good and student of all branches get at least placement of 5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes there are two hostels in our college. Hostel a and c are two hostel. A hostel is inside the college and hostel c is outside the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College is actually not that big area wise but all the major department and facilities are there in our college. Main building is the core building. In main building there are electrical and mechanical department. Library is there along with it there is auditorium and workshop is also there. There are various separate buildings for various clubs.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is quite good and crowd here is very dynamic. Students from all over India are present in our campus. There are multiple college fests which take place around the year. The clubs like team aryans racing and cybrotics are there in our college. Various other workshop are also organised by college to engage student in various activities.

    I wanted to pursue mechanical engineering and for that there is no other better place than Government College of Engineering Aurangabad because of some obvious reasons like placements (especially in mechanical).     The College is well known for good infrastructure and moderate placements. So it can be a good option for BE. Also it has good reputation overall. The college life is good and even the fees is average. Hence it’s a good option.... Read Full Review
