JSS Academy of Technical Education B.Tech Review By Kiran Kumari

JSSATE Noida is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam University Lucknow. Overall institute is good and provide decent experience to the student like there is free counselling center in the institute for the students such that they can take mentoring and believe me it is very beneficial. Institute also provides free Wi-Fi to all students and provide free bus service to the hostel students. I choose this institute because I was said by my friends that it is very good college with good infrastructure and good placements and I also got this college in the counselling process. Since I got good rank in the entrance test so I was able to avail the fee waiver seat in which tuition fee is free and we just need to pay Rs. 30,000 per year. Other students should select this institute if they want institute which can provide them good placements.

I took admission in the Computer Science Engineering and being in this branch help me a lot because college had much to offer for me in this field. There are 8 semesters in the institute and there are 3 internal exams in each semester and we also have to submit 5 assignments of each subject in every semester to get good internal marks. We need to maintain minimum 75 percent attendance in the class is required to appear for the internal exam as well as in the university exam. There are 5-6 subjects in each semester and we need to qualify each semester. To be eligible for this program one must go through the entrance test which is now JEE Mains and then we need to do the counselling to select the college. I took admission in the CSE branch because it was in trend when I took admission in the institute.

JSS Academy of Technical Education Faculty members are very good in here specially in the first year of the B.Tech. Since it is a private institute hence students come here do not need to be very hard working or smart So teachers need to be good such that they can deliver good concept explanation. Institute's best part is really the teachers here because they are very qualified and have good experience. Most of the teachers have done their M.Tech from the premium institute if India like IITs and NITs. One good things about the teachers is that they are always ready to help you out even when they are no free they make time for the students because they understand that it is important to make the week students to take interest in the study. Teachers have large experience and they are expert in teaching and how to deliver the lecture and they prepare the lesson plan in advance.

JSSATE Noida placements are really good in here because in my batch 90 percent students got placed in my branch. Most of the offers are given by Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, DXC Technology because they hire in mass. There are also some companies which does not offer most offers but provide good job profile with decent package and these companies are Newgen, Deloitte, Info Edge, ION Group etc. These companies offer package more than 10 LPA. Placement cell in the institute organizes event and session of the speaker who are doing jobs in the corporate offices and they provide good knowledge to the audiences. Placements cell really help students to provide placements to the students. Highest package in my batch was 24 LPA offered by ION Group and average package was 5 LPA.

Hostels are good but food in the mess is not good. There are three types of rooms available in the hostel which are one sharing, two sharing and three sharing and the fee for every type of room is different like for the single sharing room fee is 1.2 Lakh per annum and for the two sharing rooms fee is 1.1 Lakh per annum and for the three sharing room fee is 1 Lakh per annum. JSS Academy of Technical Education Hostel mess food is not good they offer different food each time we go to mess but they provide tasteless food each day except from one or two days. Hostel students got more facilities than the day scholars. But as a girl I feel that college hostel is way more secure than the PGs outside the campus. Yes there are good PGs outside the campus but due to security issue in the city like Noida I took college hostel.

College is built beautifully because they know how to use the space in the campus and they utilize each and every piece of land with great design. There are 8 academic block in the institute in which academic work happens. For Computer Science and Information Technology Engineering there is one block and there is also a mini super computer in the building. College has two ground, one for the cricket and one for the football and there are also courts for the basketball, Tennis, Badminton and volleyball etc. Classrooms are well equipped with all the necessary resources and also there are good tables and chairs in the classrooms. Institute also has some other resources like Big library, auditorium, multi task and program block, hobby club etc.

There are two fests that happen in JSSATE Noida campus each year one is ZEALICON and other one is Sports fest which happens each year. ZEALICON is celebrated with great enthusiasm because students participates in it and perform in many categories and also fashion show happen in this fest which is very much appreciated event because they promote social awareness in the students. This cultural fest happens each year in the month of April or May. Sports fest which happens in the college is a zonal level fest which happens every year in the month of October and in this fest all the college across Delhi NCR participates. There are many clubs in the institute and all of them are leaded by the students and only students fund them to run, college authority does not provide any help in the running of clubs and the clubs are SAE JSS, TEDx's JSS, Origo and NCS which is a coding club.
