Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur was affiliated to AKTU university till 2013 after that it became independent University. University offers both undergrads and postgrad. University campus is spread over 350 acre of area which is really very huge. Institute provides scholarship form from the Uttar Pradesh Government. I choose this university because it was old and reputed with good faculty and great architecture. Other can take admission in the institute if they are looking for a good institute which can give them good knowledge and also overall life experience. Fee in the college is also not very high. One thing about the university which I like the most is the junior senior relation and alumni structure. Overall University is good and best for the Bachelor of Technology.

I choose B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering because I was interested in physics in my school time. In this course we study about the properties of material and fluid, strength of material, theory of machine, thermodynamics, manufacturing and many more mechanical subjects. This course is a graduation course hence we need to qualify the high school and intermediate to be eligible for the exam. Now a days admission are done through the Joint Entrance Exam test for which you can apply through NTA website. After the exam students get through the counselling and then they have to select this university. Every month there are exams like class test for the assessment of the students.

MMMUT Gorakhpur has the best faculty member because I have studied in the three universities till now and I can say that faculty members here specifically for the electronics and communication engineering. I have also done several projects in the institute under the guidance of the faculty members and they are very supportive and provide resources for the projects. All the teachers here have done their PhD in their research field and most of the faculty members are still doing their research work. Style of the teaching is also good. When I was writing my research paper for my final year project at that time one of the faculty members helped me a lot to reduce the plagiarism and in overall passing of the paper in IEEE conference. Faculty members had also written books on the core subjects.

MMMUT Placements are good in here not better because some good companies visit campus but not all of them offer many offers. There are 2-3 companies which hire in mass. Other than those companies other companies visit the campus just for 8-10 jobs. They do not offer many jobs. There is training cell for placement in the campus, they arrange aptitude and verbal ability classes for the students to help them in placements. Placements cell in the university also offer internship opportunity for the students such that they can have the industry work exposure. Capgemini, HCL, Hindustan Unilever, Airtel, and many other companies visit campus but they do not offer more jobs. Highest package in my batch was offered by Hindustan Unilever of Rs. 9 LPA for the profile of Product Analyst and the average package was 5 LPA. 60 percent students got placed in my batch and most of them were placed for software engineer profile.

I am from Banaras that is why I took hostel and also hostel inside the college campus is also very affordable than the PGs. Because the hostel fee is Rs. 15,000 per annum including mess and room charge while the rent and mess charge of PG is more than Rs. 60,000 per annum in Malviya Nagar which is near the campus area. Campus is also very huge so we have to take cycle to move inside the campus. Amenities in the hostel room are bed, Almirah, fan, washroom. Mess area is also good equipped with table. Mess food is also good they offer different food each day and also they change the menu on the student's demand. There are some good PG in Malviya Nagar but they charge very much than the hostel fee. Hostel student get more advantages than the day scholar students because hostel students get access to the university resources.

MMMUT Gorakhpur Campus is huge and consists of many buildings and all are not dense and separated with good distance. There is one academic block for each course and there are also two blocks for one course. There are many facilities in the university like Indoor sports facility and a Block for many fun activities. Auditorium is also situated in the university and the capacity of the auditorium is also huge which is more than 1000 seats. Classroom are here are old fashioned and also not so modern because of the old architecture.

Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology fest called ABHUDAY organized each year in the month of April. College has very good facilities because it has many good modern equipment. Crowd in the university is good and very energetic and vibrant. Life in the institute is good and have many great experiences. Since the campus area is huge hence we make many good memories in the campus and also make lot of friends and also live life with fun. There are many engagement activities happens in the campus like in the festival of Holi and Diwali. There are many clubs in the university like Sports Slub counsel, SAE center and also one club for the public speaking skill and also there is one club the Electrical and Electronics club and all the clubs are managed by the students of the university.
