One of the top private engineering colleges in Chennai is SSN College of Engineering. The institute was founded in 1996 and affiliated to Anna University. The best thing is that if you enroll in this institute, you will receive 100% placement assistance because 200+ employers submit requirements every year. The campus is incredibly large, with 230 acres of lush greenery surrounding it. Sports, banking, and health facilities are all provided.

I decided to major in computer science and engineering because I was so intrigued by the many technologies that are used in today's society and felt compelled to study more about them in depth. I was admitted via TNEA counselling. Admissions in SSN College of Engineering are done through TNEA counselling, JEE scores, or by taking the admission exam, we can apply. A direct interview will be conducted in addition to entry through management quota. The annual cost of the course was Rs 50,000.

There are about 30 instructors in the computer science department. All of them have doctorates and have an average of 15 years of experience. Most of the professors are 40 years of age or older. They impart more life lessons and are very beneficial to our internal funding and research efforts. They hold community meetings the first week of each semester to discuss changes to the educational system that will benefit the students. Each experiment's purpose is explained to us by the lab instructors before we begin.

Nearly 96% of the students of SSN College of Engineering in our CSE department found employment, while the remaining students may have been preparing for higher education or other exams. The greatest wage package available here is for the IT branch and goes from 30 LPA to 40 LPA. One CSE student had a fantastic salary package of 15 LPA the year before. The average compensation package for IT students is between 9 and 10 LPA. The top employment agencies are HCl, Zifo, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Accenture, TCS, CTS, and other Citi banks, as well as Goldman Sachs.

Every room is A1 class. The cost of housing will be about Rs. 50,000 per person yearly. There is a hostel option you can choose to register for a hostel room at the time of admissions process. The hostel is located inside the college. Mess dishes are delicious and reasonably priced. Food options in the mess include dosa, chappathi, rasam, and sambhar. Good meal is served. But it could be improved. If students are ready to pay, there are also single rooms available. It is referred to as an NRI hostel. Along with additional amenities like wi-fi, there is also a 24-hour security system.

SSN's infrastructure is renowned! The SSN facilities are quite decent. Having a good collection of books, journals, and project reports, the library and labs are also excellent. Laboratories are outfitted and kept up. The benches in the classrooms are worn-out, damaged, and have jagged edges. The mess food is of fair quality, and there are about 6-7 canteens scattered throughout the campus. The canteens are excellent. The hostels are excellently constructed. The sports facilities are excellent, and our cricket and football fields are top-notch.

College Day is held in February, and Tech Fest takes place in September. The INVENTION tech festival takes place in November and December. SMC- Music Club, dance club (N2K), SSN Talents, and other social media platforms are included. The clubs, which include NSS, YRC, NSO, and SSN, each have a unique club for a particular department or activity. Additionally offered are a cafeteria, bank, and medical facilities. We had a great time at SSN College of Engineering.
