SRM University Delhi NCR MCA Review By Kartikey Tyagi

My experience till now in the institute is good except than one the thing which is fee because it is very high but it is justifiable because institute also provide good facilities in exchange. Institute provides bus service and free Wi-Fi for all the students. My experience in SRM Ghaziabad is good and it is filled with many good memories. I choose this institute because of its reputation, Infrastructure and great placements and also all the extra curriculum activities. Others should choose this university if they want to make a good career in IT company with good placements. Institute is good in many fields like in B.Tech course it provide next generation courses and for the Master of Computer Application course the subjects in the course are also industry ready.

Master of Computer application is a post graduation program which means student must have done their graduation from a recognized university in Bachelor of Computer Application. To get admission in the course one must qualify the SRM entrance exam in which one must get rank under 1000 to get in this institute. To be eligible for this course one must have done their graduation. I enrolled in this institute because the placement in this university was good and this institute gives good exposure to the student in the different domains of the life. Institute is affiliated to the SRM University, Chennai and the curriculum of the course is very good. Class Test happens after 30 percent syllabus of the subjects is completed and then again Class Test happens after 60 percent syllabus is completed. After the completion of syllabus university exams are conducted after each semester.

I think faculty members are the backbone of any institute because they provide the learning to the students and they are the persons who mentor us and give us their experience. In SRM University Ghaziabad faculty members provide great learning experience with good teaching style. All the teacher had done their Research work in their respective field and few of the teachers have done post doctorate and done their research work. Teachers in the SRM have vast experience and provide great learning experience to the students. One thing that I feel support the faculty members in their teaching is the equipment and technology that they provide to the students. Teachers also provide some extra class to cover the extra topics and also provide training for the skills required for the placements.

SRM University, Ghaziabad has one of the best placements and training cell and it try to give placement to each and every student and they try to bring many companies in the campus. Companies start to visit the campus in third semester and students become eligible for the recruitment process in third semester itself. Many good companies visit campus some of them are Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, Cognizant, Hindustan Unilever, Optum, Info Edge, DXC Technology, HCL Technology, Wipro, Infosys etc. Minimum package offered by the companies is between 4 to 5 Lakh per Annum and highest package offered to the students is Rs. 12 to 15 lakhs. Average package of the institute is 7 lakhs per annum. Placement Cell also provides aptitude classes for the student to help them in the company's recruitment drive.

The amazing thing about the SRM Ghaziabad is the hostel here because rooms in the hostel are sophisticated and well designed and each room has its own washroom attached to it hence we do not need to stand in line of combined washroom. Mess food is not good but it is not bad and mess facilities are good. Fee for the hostel is high which is Rs. 1 Lakh in which room and food and Wi-Fi is included but the gym facilities and the laundry service is not included that is the worst part because we have to give 15000 extra for these services. Students have to take the college hostel because there are no good PGs are available outside the campus. College students got more facilities than the day scholar students.

SRM infrastructure is one of its main highlight. Since it is private university hence it provides all the facilities to the students but fee is high in the institute. There are many academic blocks in the institute and for the Computer application there is a separate block in the campus. College has a big auditorium which has capacity of more than 500 students and it is air conditioned. Class rooms in the institute are very high tech and have all the required amenities in the classrooms and all the classes are air conditioned and all classrooms have digital boards. There is a library in the university which is very large and consists of 1 lakh books.

One cultural fest every year in the college named SUBARU and it happen in the month of April every year. But last year fest was cancelled due to corona. But this year it will happen again. There are 2 big grounds in the college and one indoor sports facility for the students. There many sports facilities are available in the college like table tennis, badminton, Cricket etc. Many clubs are run in the college and all of them are run and maintained by the students itself. There are many workshops are organize in the campus for the student' activities. There is also one DJ night is organized in the college every year in the month of October. Life in SRM Ghaziabad is good but it also charge us great amount of money.
