Parul University Vadodara: My Candid Opinion

Overall Rating
I am a third year student of B.Tech CSE (AI) in this university. I have chosen Parul University, Vadodara because it is far from my hometown and has affordable fee. The University environment is excellent. There are students from another states and even countries. It is also accredited by NACC (A++).
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen this course and specialization because it is going to play major role in the coming years. The requirements are that you should have completed your 12th grade or Diploma (for Lateral entry). Admission process is every simple. It has officers of each state in the admission block. This is a private university so it conducts its own exams.
This fee is to be paid in a semester wise pattern. Hostel fee is almost equal to the university fee. If you score in HSC or Diploma is over 70%, you can get remission in fee.
 

Faculty Rating
There are more than 200+ teachers who have graduated from IITs. They are very experienced and have good problem solving skills. Some of them have also cleared GATE exams. All of them are very good with students. They conduct group discussion, presentation, and use smart TVs during lectures.
 

Placement Rating
Many recruiters are coming to the university and offer packages of over 40 LPA. Placements cell help students with the all the things related to placements. The cell conducts impact training for 3rd and 4th year students. Average package is around 6 LPA. It may also provide you with a paid internship for 6 months.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities are excellent in my opinion. It has 24/7 Wi-Fi, water, and electricity.
Food might not be upto the mark for some students as non-vegetarian food isn’t provided. Security is good for both girls and boys. Some rules are strict though. I prefer to stay in hostel for 4 years because environment outside the university is not good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of Parul University, Vadodara is very good. University is very clean. There are branch vise blocks; for example, CSE students have one block, Medical students have another one, and Mechanical & Civil students study in another block. There are so many canteens in university. There are digital TVs and projectors in every class. In university, there are separate libraries for every branch. Transport facilities are available for local students. Security is good as guards are ex-military personnel.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the crowd is good as there are many international students. They are over 50000 students here. It provides clubs. The university also conducts extracurricular activities after every two months. Fests and events are conducted for every festival in campus in a grand manner. It also conducts sports functions. The university also conducts annual fests. My campus life is good as one can make friends, participate in fests, and focus on their career.

    I am a student of B.Tech at Parul University. It has a very vibrant culture and there are students from all over India and abroad. My friends are from Manipur, Jammu, Lucknow, Vrindavan, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Nigeria, Nepal, etc. It offers a stage for creative or talented people.
