Life in LD College Ahmedabad

Overall Rating
Overall very great experience and good campus life at L.D. College of Engineering, classroom and labs are very clean. And facilities in labs are well equipped. Sports facilities like cricket ground, badminton ground etc. where students can play. Faculty members are also helpful and placement in our college are best, very high number of students get placement offer.
 

Academics Rating
LD College of Engineering is best in Gujarat. Most of the students are from Gujarat and also many from other states. Our college is under GTU and ACPC conducts the admission process every year. There are many branches in our college. If you want to get admission in LD College, Candidates must have passed Class 12th in the Science stream with PCM and also get good score in GUJCET exam. After they release the ranking list and you and decide which branch best for you.
 

Faculty Rating
All faculty members in LD College of Engineering are very friendly and supportive. And also their way of teaching are also good. Students are not facing any problem. They are also guiding us for projects. They are also arranging the industrial visit for students so students will get practical knowledge and industrial works are happened.
 

Placement Rating
Placement in our college is very nice. Training and placement cell are very active. And try maximum number of students will get placement offer. Average 700 to 800 students get placement every year. Most of the students get placement before they complete degree.
 

Hostel Rating
The campus has a number of hostel blocks. Students will get a room according to their merit. But every student not getting admission in hostel. They need to find accommodation surrounding area of college. There are many PG near the college so, students not face any problem.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of LD College is very good. All branches are having in separate building. All classroom and labs are well maintained. In our campus has very big workshop. And many lathe machine, machine tools, CNC machine, rapid prototyping machine, robotic arm, and model of as/rs system, where students will get practical exposure.
 

Campus Rating
The campus of LD College is very clean And green. There is very big lawn so, where students spent free times with friends. There are many clubs in our college like, Coders Club, Robocon, Innovator Club etc. and they also host different events and tech fest and many students participate. Many of students also join NSS.

    This institute is government aided and affiliated with GTU and hence it has very nominal fees and its placement and campus are also good. Students here are also very helpful in many ways.     Overall Rating
    It has good and huge infrastructure. Faculties are also very supportive and kind. It provides all needed facilities like sports ground, clubs, auditorium, discussion room, etc. It provides industry related curriculum so I prefer this institute instead of other colleges. It is government institute so my fee is very less as compared to other private colleges.... Read Full Review

    L.D College of Engineering is Government Engineering College in Gujarat and is one of the oldest and Prestigious College in the State. I have spent my 4 years in this college and it's really worth it and the placement here are quite nice.   • LDCE was an amazing experience
     

    Overall Rating
    I studied at LDCE from 2012 to 2016. LDCE is as good as any private institute in Gujarat such as Nirma University. Thus, if you have got admissions here means big congratulations to you and your family as it’s a remarkable achievement. It is one of the oldest institutes of Gujarat as it was established way back in 1948. The best part was that college has many nationalized groups working within such as NSS and NCC.
