Enriching Learning Experiences at NMU Jalgaon

Overall Rating
North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon offers many courses. I enrolled here because only this university has the course, I wanted to pursue. The fee here is also affordable. The campus is very beautiful and big. All facilities are available here and the infrastructure is also good.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Sc in Actuarial Science. To get admission in this course, you will need good marks in Mathematics in class 12th boards. For admission process, you will need to apply online on university website. There are two internal exams and one final exam per semester.
Fee for my course is Rs. 27,000 per year including all exam fee, tuition fee, etc. Also, scholarship is available for financially backward students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very helpful and have a good nature. All faculty members are very well educated. Some of them are PhD holders and some are pursuing the same in their respective subjects. There doubt solving abilities are outstanding; they can solve your problems very easily. The teacher student ratio is 1:20. My bonding with the faculty members is very strong, they help me whenever I want, and in an instant they solve my problems. The faculty of NMU Jalgaon is very good.
 

Placement Rating
There is no placement cell in the university.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is available for both boys and girls. Boys’ and girls’ hostel are separated. Hostel fee is Rs. 4,500 per year. Mess facility is also provided in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the NMU Jalgaon is very good and beautiful. The campus size is very big. The classrooms are spacious and are equipped with smart boards. There is a seminar hall available in every department. All academic facilities are available here like library, advanced Computer labs, auditorium, and conference hall. Cafeteria is also available in the campus, which serves good food. Sports complex is also available in the campus. Medical room for emergency is available in the campus, and on every corner security guard is there. My favorite place in the campus is its lush green lawn.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is very good and joyful. Students of every department are nice and friendly. In NMU Jalgaon there is an organization named ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) which helps students if someone does wrong with them. Every year there are many engagement activities conducted like sports day, fest, and other competitions. Overall, my college life is going really well.

    Well, the only reason I have chosen this college is because of the environment. I am from Panvel though and moving 400 km away from my family was a great change by the way. The college has a great environment for people and students. The academic is also good. Overall I would suggest students interested in any chemical related branch but could not get into OCT or LIT. You should choose this college and the reason is simple the placement and the teachers here are great.... Read Full Review
