MBM University, Jodhpur was established in the year 1952. It is one of the most prestigious government universities in Rajasthan with a very decent placement in core branches. University is one of the oldest in India, thus it has a very good alumni network that helps in boosting the placement. This is the only government university in Rajasthan that offer Bachelors in Engineering in Mining; it also has its own artificial mine.

MBM University holds a strong reputation in the field of Engineering and Technology. The university offers many different academic programs to its students such as B.E (Bachelor of Engineering), M.E (Masters in Engineering), PhD, and B.Arch. To get admission in the university, students need to enroll in REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counseling that is purely based on JEE Main scorecard. University has semester wise exams and difficulty level of exams is moderate. Average student can easily clear the exam and get good CGPA. Academics prepare us really well for the real life challenges and industries.

The university offers two types of seats in Bachelor of Engineering to its students; GAS, which is a government affiliated seat and SFS, a self financed seat. Fee of students having GAS seat is comparatively low as compared to the SFS seat. Fee is Rs. 47,500 and Rs. 8,000 is paid as caution money for a GAS student. University also provides scholarship based on the students family income.

University have well qualified and highly experienced faculty. Most of the faculty members are graduated from IITs, NITs or other prestigious government institutes. Professors are exceptionally good and supportive. Professors and students have a very good bonding and they help in getting internships and doubt clearance. The ratio of student teacher in the university is decent. Irregular classes are major setback for the university and students need to maintain a minimum 75% attendance. In the first year, my experience with teachers was not good enough but now it’s improving. Overall, university's faculty is really good.

Yes, the university has its very own placement cell, which helps students in getting internships and placements. The average placement of the university was around 6 LPA and highest was around 21 LPA from Petroleum in the year 2024.

MBM University, Jodhpur has a campus of 98 acres. Campus is very close to the airport and air force area. In first year, there are around 120 students in one class that are further divided into 4 groups. The number of student differs in different branches based on the seats in that branch. For first year students classrooms are average and need to be improved. University has a library, gym, auditorium, seminar hall, and canteen. University lacks in the medical facilities with no medical aid readily available in the campus. Although, the university has some security cameras but I think security should be improved for the safety purposes. As the university was made in 1952, the infrastructure of the university is very traditional so, there is a need for up gradation.

Campus life at my university is awesome. University has many active clubs such as Pixel Lens Club for photography and video editing enthusiasts, debating club, personality development club, chess club, volleyball club, and many more. University has regular events and extracurricular activities in which students can participate and enhance their personality by learning new skills. I’m enjoying my campus life really well with friends and seniors.
