Infrastructure and Academic Insights of RJIT Gwalior

Overall Rating
Rustamji Institute of Technology, Gwalior is an institute where you can learn about discipline and how we can coordinate with each other. Teachers here are supportive. Institute is lush green. BSF academy facilities are also available, as the institute uses the BSF academy’s auditorium. You will be able to coordinate with BSF members as well. Hostel facilities are also available for both boys as well as girls.
 

Academics Rating
I’m doing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering branch. There are many branches in our institute like Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The entry can be with or without JEE Main. Admission process is simple, first you have to fill up the form and then one day they will call you for counseling and will ask about why you are choosing this branch. The college follows a semester system. In each semester three exams are conducted, 2 internal exams and one end semester exam.
The fee of my branch is approximately Rs. 40,000 per semester. Fee structure is different for different category students such as widow mother, BSF ward, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members teaching my subjects are awesome. They teach us very well and even guide us for both academic and personal issues. Faculty members also guide you in your preparation of exams. Background of the faculty is very good; they have done their Master’s from reputed universities across India. They have an experience of about 20 to 25 years. Their behavior towards students is very polite. They themselves inquire us if we have any doubts. For teaching they sometimes use PPTs and sometimes blackboard. Teachers also conduct group discussions in the classrooms.
 

Placement Rating
After Covid the placements declined in both rate and package. However, this year in 2025 the placement cell is working really hard and placements have risen as well.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Rustamji Institute of Technology, Gwalior has hostel facilities for both boys and girls. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel mess provides good food and takes proper care of hygiene. The hostel is strict in terms of discipline. The hostel fee is Rs. 70,000 per year. I am a hosteller myself. My life here is quite comfortable here and I will be opting for the hostel throughout my B.Tech degree.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 floors in the institute building. All the labs and classrooms are well equipped with the required facilities. The institute’s washrooms are also cleaned regularly. Library is present inside the campus and has a good stock of both course books and fictional books. Facilities for sports like basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, kho-kho, handball, badminton, and kabaddi are provided by the institute. Campus has a canteen for snacks. My favorite place in the institute is the classrooms. I love to go and study there.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good and it should be like that only. Institute crowd is very much like around 1000 students from across India. There are many clubs in our institute like Robolution Club, Watt Club, Abhivaykti Club, and Let’s Code Club. Students can join any club according to their interest and passion. Extracurricular activities like cultural fest and robots fest are there, where students get the chance to go to another institute to represent our institute. Sports teams of our institute have represented our institute in state level competition, national level competition, etc. I am really enjoying my college life.
