Poornima University: A Budget Friendly Option

Overall Rating
My overall experience in Poornima University is pretty decent. I chose this private college due to affordability, scholarship, and decent placement. It is normal college within budget, if you can afford more then go for other college. The students and faculties have wear dress code that is to be followed. You have to be practical for choosing college because it will affect your career
 

Academics Rating
I chose Bachelor's of Technology in Computer Science Engineering. There are no eligibility criteria for the college as you can get directly admission through counseling based on 12th marks. Talking about the exam frequency, the exams are conducted nearly every month and you can feel the academic pressure at starting but at end you became use to these things.
The B.Tech fee for current financial year will be Rs. 1,80,000 per year. Apart from that, there are various scholarships provided by the university whether it be defense or sports quota or merit scholarships are all provided.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very nice and generous. Majority of them are nice and supportive. Mostly faculty members are postgraduate and completed PhD. The methods of teaching are from PPT, notes, and problem-solving skills of teachers are average because they are traditional teachers not knowing current technology. In my class, there are 45 students and teacher is one for one hours. As I have nearly completed my 3rd year, the teachers are mostly known and share great bonding with me.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are provided by the college. Various tech and non-tech companies visit the college during drive. You can expect an average package of 4.5 LPA for the student of B.Tech CSE.
 

Hostel Rating
I am not residing in the hostel. I have chosen PG outside university. From the information by my friends, the hostel rooms and PGs are good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is only one academic block in Poornima University. The construction work is still going on. There is very big central library. There are canteen and restaurant inside the campus area. The food is decent. My favorite part of infrastructure is sports grounds. It also provides transportation facilities to the students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very decent. A fest is organized every year named ‘Lakshaya’. It goes on for five days. This time, Sunidhi Chauhan were invited. There are many clubs and societies in the university. They are run by student council. Extracurricular activities are also held here.

    This is a good university with in Jaipur. The campus life here is also good. There is a very good response in academics and the faculty here explains each well.
