Candid Views of Sophomore about Maharishi University

Overall Rating
Maharishi University is somehow good. Our infrastructure is good, it is clean and green. Our university organizes various sports events. This university is focused on the meditation practices, which was found by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. It has transcendental meditation training.
 

Academics Rating
I chose BCA with AI and ML. We must have at least 50 percent in our 12th board. The process is very simple. It doesn't have any much steps, there are two exams in a year and a semester exam in a semester and an end sem exam. the academic prepare me for coding challenges
The fees for Maharishi University is decent as a private university, my course have Rs. 90,000 per year fee. It provided me scholarship, which reduced my fees to Rs. 70,000, which was based on my 12th percentage.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is also quite decent for my course. They are skilled and teaching, they are of a good background. They are well qualified with good universities. There method of teaching is blackboard. They are good in problem solving. They give personalized guidance. Teacher to student ratio is 2:8. My experience was good with my faculty and I have a good bonding with my teachers. They help me with my problems. they are very kind and helpful regarding my academics.
 

Placement Rating
My university’s placements can be improved. It does invite companies but the rate of the students placed needs to be improved.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel life is good in Maharishi University. However, there are many rules and restrictions. Hostels for girls and boys are separate. Mess food is hygienic and tasty. The fee is Rs. 7,000 per month for non-AC and Rs. 8,500 for AC rooms. 9 PM is the in time. My personal experience is mix.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good. Campus has one curved building. All classrooms are air-conditioned. It has a good library with proper learning environment and books. The auditorium is small it but fully air-conditioned and have speakers. My favorite part about infrastructure is its grounds. It has a badminton court, which is very clean and well. It has 3 buses for transportation. The canteen is good and affordable menu.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of Maharishi University is good. Crowd is mixed. Many activities like dandiya nights and sports events are held. It also has annual fests per year. There are many clubs in my university like technical clubs, sports club, etc.

    I am pursuing BCA from MUIT Noida. As I am in my 2nd year and I recommend you to give a kick-start to you career by choosing this one. I chose this college provides a safe and kind environment.
