Overall Rating
The Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata provides many co-curricular activities like business events, fashion events, sports events, etc. The campus is also good and has its own playing field inside the college. The college provides lots of amazing opportunities. The difference between this and other colleges is that it allows students to shine in other activities as well.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Com (honors). To be eligible to enroll here, you need to pass class 12th boards with minimum 40%. For admission in the college, you only need to fill the admission form. The admission process is very easy. Exams are conducted twice a year by Calcutta University.
We have to first pay Rs. 47,000 for admission and 1st semester. Starting from second semester, we need to pay Rs. 32,000 each.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at The Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata is very good and helpful. Generally, the teachers are themselves CA, CS or IITian. Method of teaching is also very good and easy to understand. My bonding with faculty members is wholesome. There are around 200 to 300 teachers in the college to guide the students. The problem solving abilities of the faculty is very sharp.
 

Placement Rating
The placements are very good. Big companies visit college to recruit students during placement drives.
 

Hostel Rating
The college does not provide hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata has a big campus. The classrooms are spacious and air conditioned. Library has well stocked books of different categories and has a good sitting arrangement. Campus also has a canteen for snacks. There are 2 to 3 halls to conduct any shows, events or seminars. It has a medium sized sports ground and an indoor sports room with lots of sports equipment. The college also has a medical team for emergencies.
 

Campus Rating
Many fests and events are organized in the college like ‘Umang’, ‘Dhammal’, ‘Nexus’, etc. The college crowd is also good and talented. The college provides many extracurricular activities like stock market trader classes, entrepreneurship development skills, and business startup program. There are many societies like NCC, Music, dance, fashion Show, AON, etc. I am a part of NCC. The college also organizes intra college sports events like boxing, cricket, football, pickleball.

    I am a first year B.Sc. Economics Hons. Student at BESC, and in my 4 months of college now I can honestly say that BESC is wonderful. It is true that college doesn’t have high cut offs and even average students can get admission here, but regardless of this all the students here specially in English, Science and Arts department are very creative, knowledgeable, academically strong and brilliant.     BESC is the best commerce college in Kolkata. The college timings are quite good, and we get enough time to indulge in other activities. It has an excellent library which is spread in an area of 5,000sq.m.
