Overall Rating
Gandhi Institute for Technology (GIFT) is located in Bhubaneswar, the state's capital and largest IT centre. This institute was started in 2007 by the Belaram Panda Trust, which also manages it. This college is self-supporting and is a part of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology. The campus is surrounded by a pleasant atmosphere and quality infrastructure.
 

Academics Rating
I chose the B.Tech in CSE degree because it aids in the development of programming skills. Nothing in our college needs to be improved. Our course is going well overall. It coordinates extracurricular and festival activities. There were only 60 students in my class, which was relatively sparsely populated, and we had access to labs and workshops where we could practice on our own. The overall cost of the four-year education is close to Rs. 4,00,000.
 

Faculty Rating
Excellent instruction is provided. The course material is quite current. To prepare students for the workforce, Gandhi Institute for Technology has a section dedicated to training and placement. The lab instructors are excellent and knowledgeable as well. These academics will provide you with the best advice. The course curriculum is at par, and teachers experiment with different approaches daily to give students confidence in their instruction.
 

Placement Rating
95% of students are hired by new companies each year. Many businesses, including Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Hexaware, visit our college. The highest bundle had a 4 LPA price tag, while the lowest one had a 1.5 LPA one. In the college, we had TCS, 3i Infotech, Cavisson, and many more. A little over 20% of the students received internships with various government and companies. My goal is to be hired by a reputable organisation with a competitive salary after receiving my degree.
 

Hostel Rating
The amenities in hostel rooms include a single bed, a study desk and chair, a bathroom, round-the-clock electricity, and Wi-Fi. The variety and quality of the meals are excellent. Along with the college admissions process, the hostel registration process is completed. Electricity and Wi-Fi are available around-the-clock. If you wish to attend college hostel, you must complete a form when applying. They will offer you breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in terms of food. The annual hostel fees is around Rs. 65,000.
 

Infrastructure Rating
All of the classes have air conditioning, fans, comfortable chairs, green boards, and smart classes. The classrooms are in decent shape and contain air conditioning, a projector, a blackboard, desks, and benches. The entire campus has Wi-Fi, and there are both physical and digital libraries with a capacity of 150 to 250 students at a time. Both boys and girls have access to a private mess and a hostel. There are amenities in the classrooms for both students and faculty.
 

Campus Rating
An annual athletic meet is held each year, and there are also extracurricular activities including chess, music, dancing, table tennis, and carrom. These activities are all part of a session called a hobby club. We take pleasure in national holidays like Diwali and Holi.

    My overall experience is good and continuing in the college. It's a very good experience from the admission to the end of the fourth semester. Actually, this institute is among the top colleges in Odisha and earned A++ grade by NAAC. Last year it's officially called as autonomous college so it's a good thing for us and for college. In my opinion its placement opportunities are best so for Odisha students I think this should be a good option.... Read Full Review
