Why IILM University, Greater Noida a Top Choice for Students?

Overall Rating
I was very curious as I had confirmed admissions in many private universities; including my hometown, Lucknow's very own University of Lucknow. So, I specifically saw a few things like are the hostels good, yes they were. Are academics at par with that of modern day requirements, etc. So when all these things clicked right, I made my mind that this is where I will study and after almost 2 years, I can say that it was the best decision that I took.
 

Academics Rating
University's main strength is definitely academics as the combination of professors and combination of theory & practical works absolutely in sync here. I can speak for myself and in my academic career thus far, I am going through one of the best phases that a student can go through. 6 theory subjects and 2 practical so, 8 subjects to clear in this semester. Also, the syllabus per semester is completed 15 days prior to the end-sem exams. So, this is the kind of commitment that IILM University, Greater Noida has for academics as breaks are important and our university provides us that in the nick of time.
Rs. 1,84,000 is the exact fee unless you find yourself some scholarships.
 

Faculty Rating
Though the faculties never take the limelight but if one look at the number of students every semester who clear the exams, one will understand the potent role that they play. Their MOAT is simple; if you attend all classes & practical then some freebies will be offered for that. This motivation is enough as hardly there are few students who miss out on attendance. Rest all have more than required attendance. So, again faculties are the one who should be credited. So, luckily there are no shadows when it comes to faculty as its all daylight.
 

Placement Rating
If one look at the number of engineers that are passing every year, it is just impossible to have your dream placement. So, if one doesn’t care about the domain, then placements are guaranteed here but for those who need placements in a particular domain, have to work really hard.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good as in the first year, three seater rooms are allotted. From second year onwards one can make a choice as whether to have a three seater room or a single seater room. I have opted for a single seater room and it is comforting as anything. Mess food taste wise little scratchy but freshness wise, I can say we are served fresh food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of IILM University, Greater Noida set it on fire right from outset. The number of courses that it has is high but there are enough classrooms. Library seating area is also enough but the only thing which is not enough is canteen area. I have been a part of long queues on few occasions and then felt like chucking it. So, if one more cafe is build, I think the issue about infrastructure which isn't any but this small issue will be resolved too.
 

Campus Rating
As I am a hostel student, so for me campus life matters more than day scholars. If the question is do I bide my time well and then the answer is a big yes. There are around more than 50 societies in the university for extracurricular activities. Students who are into film making have the biggest society of the university, with nearly strength of 400 plus students. I am a part of singing society. So at IILM University, Greater Noida campus life is fabulous.
