PIET Vadodara: Faculty and Other Insights

Overall Rating
My experience at the Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vadodara is very good. I am very much impressed with the atmosphere here, like students, teachers, and the seniors. I chose this university because it is provides good placements in my course.
 

Academics Rating
I chose CSE (AI) because this course has a good demand in companies now a day. Eligibility criterion is to pass class 12th with decent score. The academic curriculum is effective and helps us to face real life challenges. The academic curriculum followed by the university is updated time to time.
As, I said earlier I chose CSE (AI) and my fee is Rs. 1,14,000. Admission can be done in online manner by paying Rs. 10,000 or you can directly come to the university for offline process. This can be changed based on your 12th board percentage. I got fee concession as I scored 90% in my 12th class. If you are from Gujarat, your fee will be reduced because of the home state scholarship. There are no extra fees.
 

Faculty Rating
In my course most of the faculties are highly qualified and have good professional experience. I don't have much knowledge about the faculty background but some of them have previously worked in the IITs. Teaching method is very practical and easy to understand. Problem solving ability of the faculty is good. Teacher-student ratio is 1:65. My bonding with the faculty is very friendly. Group discussions are held once in a week.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the university which helps us in getting placed. It also trains us how to prepare for placement interviews. Many placement related activities are conducted in the campus that helps students to get placed. Every year many companies like Accenture, TCS, Zomato, Service Now, etc. visit the campus for placements. Last year highest package was 41 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The college provides residential facilities with affordable fee as compared to other colleges. There are separate hostels for both girls and boys. Hostel consists of 600 rooms. Mess food is actually good but you may need some time to adjust to the taste if you are from southern India. Hostel fee is Rs. 82,000 per year. You have to be in the hostel before 9:30 PM. My experience in the hostel is good and pleasant.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology, Vadodara has good infrastructure. Campus is of 150 acres. Classrooms have smart boards. There are 2 libraries; one in main block and the other is for medical students. There are lots of canteens with delicious menu. My favorite spot in the campus is ‘Kathi Junction’. Transportation service for day scholars is provided by the university. Also, there is an auditorium where all meetings are held.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience in the university campus in last 3 years was fun. Students are very friendly. It is strictly a ragging free campus, one will be immediately rusticated if found guilty. There are many sports clubs in the campus. Also, various engagement activities are going on frequently. There is at least one event going on for every 3 weeks in the university. I suggest this college to the students who are really interested in getting jobs and placements.

    Waste don’t show any interest about on this college, you cannot survive here in the north place for the south people about college and hostel. I will agree with the faculty teaching was fine, they show the NAAC A++ review. I think first joining of college should be visited to college.
