Qualified Faculty at KU Jorhat

Overall Rating
Overall the The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat is good in every factor. It offers good placements, faculty, environment, and atmosphere. But it lacks in few things like Proper infrastructure, class, and different schools. While the university management and hostel facilities need to be improved.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing B.Tech in CSE. For eligibility you should be a class 12th pass out. Admission process is very simple, you need to visit the college campus and then the admission coordinator will guide you properly for the process. The frequency of exams is good. We have sectional tests, mid semester test, and an end semester test.
For every semester fee paid is Rs. 55,000. While admission you need to pay Rs. 30,000 as a registration fee, which entirely depend on the course chosen.
 

Faculty Rating
Some of the faculty members are highly qualified and teach really well, while some needs improvement. Overall they are decent with proper education background. There problem solving skill is good, if we ask any doubt they generally help us in solving that. The teacher student ratio depend on the courses, for some it is good while others need more hiring of teachers. The faculty is actually very nice and approachable.
 

Placement Rating
I am currently in my 4th semester so I don't have that much idea about it. But as much as I have heard they are good.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel fee per semester depends on the room chosen. For me hostel fee per semester is Rs. 45,000. Fee is quite high but facilities are kind of average. Hostel facilities require improvement in every aspect be it mess or bathrooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The best part of the campus is just that it is situated in front of the national highway that's why it is easy for transportation. Campus consists of different buildings. Each building represents different schools of university.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is just decent. According to the campus size, university seems to be crowded. There are various clubs like NSS which helps in volunteering. Decent extracurricular activities are conducted but their management lacks in deciding time schedule; in short you have to sacrifice either your classes or the events.

    I'm a 2nd year student at Assam Kaziranga University and till now my journey has been great. I chose this university because it provides various growth opportunities to students. It also offers Engineering courses at relatively low price when compared to other private colleges. The faculties of the university are experienced and qualified.     I joined the The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat in 2023.This university is good for professional courses like B.Tech, BCA, MBA, etc. We have well equipped labs and Good faculty that helps us in every possible way. They bring lots of value addition courses for the students. We have few Center of Excellences in which all the students can participate and learn a lot of things.
