Exploring Campus Life in SATI Vidisha

Overall Rating
Overall, SATI Vidisha is good and has all the necessary facilities. My personal reason to choose this institute was that it is a semi government institute and is oldest engineering institute in central India. It has the strong and oldest alumni network around the country. The institute is near railway station and have the connectivity to every state. The institute is having a good greenery campus, which is giving peace to your mind. Here you have gym and every necessary facilities.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. I have taken this branch because I have studied in school and I find it interesting. The eligibility criteria isn’t complicated but you will get admission by MP counseling. Admission is simple by MP DTE counseling. In, every 4 to 5 months a semester ends. In between the semester, there are 2 mid semester exams. The academics are really good as they prepare us for upcoming challenges. The quizzes are taken every week or two and you have to submit it online.
Total yearly tuition fee is Rs. 86,400. MP state scholarship and category wise scholarships are available for the students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of SATI Vidisha are good and supportive. If you are consistent, you will definitely love to come to institute. They will definitely support you. They are well qualified and doing their best to give us best knowledge. They are using all kind of methods like black boards, PPTs, and group discussions. The faculties are well qualified and have best problem solving abilities. The student to teacher ratio is 30:1. With my personal experience, you can contact your subject professor any time and they will solve your personal and academic doubt.
 

Placement Rating
Actually, I do not have much knowledge about placement as I am not in the final year. I have heard they are average. The average CTC offered is 2 LPA to 3 LPA and highest is 17 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, SATI Vidisha has 5 hostels, which include 2 girls’ hostels and 3 boys’ hostels. There are capacity of 100 to 120 students in each hostel. Mess food is good and hygienic. Hostel fee is Rs. 30,000, excluding mess charges. Timings are 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are blocks for every department. As you enters our campus, you will see our institute academic building, which is of engineering, and then behind that, you will see Polytechnic building. They have old architecture and despite that, they look damn beautiful. The institute has 2 sports grounds and a sports hall, which has all facilities including wooden badminton court and table tennis area. It has high security with around 100 to 200 cameras all around the campus and 8 security guards. The institute has its own gym.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life is very good. Crowd is also polite and helpful. There are various clubs including photography, dancing, singing, coding, sports, robotics, etc. The institute also has its own fest named ‘Samrat Utsav’. You have other events in every other month.

    The overall experience is not that bad. The facilities are kind and it's not that bad. They sometimes blame you for not stopping your batch mates for their wrongful doing.     Overall experience till now at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute has been okay-okay. I wasn't going to choose this Institute but it was a compulsion to get admission here. By the way overall faculty of the Institute is good but infrastructure isn't in good condition. There is lots of greenery in our campus and it's so good to walk around.     I chose this College as it’s in my hometown and if you want a govt. College or semi govt. college then it’s a good college for you. The lab classes are conducted on the regular basis.
