SS Jain Subodh PG College: Flexible Learning & Affordable Education

Overall Rating
My overall experience is good. I, particularly chose this college because of fee structure, attendance ratio, flexibility, and accessibility. This college provides flexibility to attend classes on your own terms. Rather than stressing out for 75% attendance, you can explore other things and learn some valuable skills.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing Master of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication. I would suggest you to go for Bachelor's program first. The eligibility criterion is 65% in the 12th board from any recognized board or 65% in the final year from any recognized university. You can register from the official website, They also take direct admission. The academic life of this college prepares you for real-life challenges and gives you theoretical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a structured way to approach problems with a smile.
The fee structure is very affordable. As for Masters, it is Rs. 14,500 for a year including college uniform (2 shirts, 1 pant, &1 tie). There are scholarships for the special categories like Sports Quota, Category Quota, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members have done their PhD in their honorable subjects. The teaching method used by teachers includes Group Discussion, PPTs, Smart Classes, Field Work, Labs, and so much more. The faculty members are very sweet, friendly, and approachable. I have one of the best bonds with one of my professor. Some of the best discussion I have had with one of my professor. It started with politics went on for hours and ended on women empowerment. The teacher student ratio is 1:15. The teachers have a lot of patience and experience in their respective field and they are very helpful.
 

Placement Rating
SS Jain Subodh PG College does not have a official placement cell yet but teachers help a lot with the vacancies and jobs. It provides details and arranges seminars for the same. Recently, Mercedes visited the college. The package offered by the recruiters was between 1.8 LPA to 2.3 LPA. There are several placement related notices and activities conduct in the seminar hall on a daily basis. Teacher takes workshops for students. So, they can crack interviews. We also have free Coaching for Civil Services exam.
 

Hostel Rating
The college does not offer residential facilities as of now because mostly students are day scholar and locals.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has five buildings including MBA block. It is near RBI (Reserve Bank Of India).The classes are pretty spacious with all the available facilities like Projector. We also have Academic facilities like Library, Auditorium, Seminar Hall, Labs, and Studio (for media students). College does not provide transport facilities but as it is in the heart of Jaipur. It is easily accessible by public transport. We have a huge canteen, parking, and sports ground. My favorite thing to sit in the canteen with my friends and enjoy my free time.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of Subodh can be improved though. This is because majority of the events organized here are academic or technical. College organizes activities like global conferences, and summits that help in educating thousands of students. There are no cultural or annual fests happening like other colleges. One of the things that make it unique is its great football team and NCC. The crowd is 80% local or students that are from Rajasthan.

    Overall Rating
    The environment at SS Jain Subodh PG College is good. There are rules and some strict rules. The classrooms are not that good as we expect. Teachers are decent. Management needs some improvement. The canteen is average and we have to buy blazers for wearing if you don’t there could be a slight chance that you won’t be allowed inside the campus.     Best college for middle class and poor students. Because it's a budget friendly college. It is located in the centre of Jaipur city so students can easily go to their home town or PG/hostels.
