RGUKT Basar is the Top Choice for POLYCET Students

I am the student of RGUKT Basar. I got seat in this college based on my rank in my POLYCET exam. The factors that made me choose this college is that it provides best learning experience through practical knowledge with best faculty. The difference in this university and other universities is that the students of this university can have the best learning experience of the technology to build a better future tomorrow.

The course chosen by me is Computer Science & Engineering, after the completion of my PUC. The university provides a link to select the priority of the branches from all the 7 branches. The students are selected to their priority given branch based on their CGPA acquired in both PUC-1 and PUC-2. The admission process to this college at my time was by selecting the students of top 1500 in POLYCET exam and the students’ category. We have 3 monthly tests with each of 15 marks where best of two are chosen and semester exam as well as lab internal and external exams. As I said, this university provides best faculty where students learn with practical knowledge as we have labs.

The fee structure in our university is based the students caste. The students who belong to SC/ST/OBC categories get scholarship. If students belong to EWS category, they have to pay Rs. 40,000.

RGUKT Basar provides best faculty who have best teaching experience. The university takes the faculty who has completed their post-graduate and PhD. Faculty uses PPT's, whiteboard, group discussion, projects, and many more ways where the students can understand the concept in the better way so it can be useful for the better development of the future society. My faculty is very friendly in nature even though we have doubts they explain with patiently so that we can understand in a better way. They also encourage us to do new things; they also help us in our projects.

Our university provides placements opportunities where many top companies visit the campus like BHEL, Microsoft, Infosys, etc. The packages are based on the student’s performance.

RGUKT Basar provides the hostel facility as it is a residential university. We have separate hostels for boys and girls; 3 hostels for each of them. In every room, there will be 3 to 6 students. Hostel fee is also included in the scholarship for the students who are applicable. We have mess food with the best menu.

We have the best infrastructure in our university. Every branch has its own blocks with labs. We have 2 academic blocks, 1 administration block, sports club, dance club, music club, and so on where the students can access for free. The students who are interested to learn the music, dance, etc. can go to respective blocks and learn for free. My favorite place in my university is chess club where I can learn chess for free. We also have 2 libraries: one is central library where we can access books, newspaper to study and second one is digital library where we can access computers with Wi-Fi to study.

My overall campus life is best. Many events are organized by our university. Recently, we have organized tech fest, which is the biggest rural technical exhibition in India for three days. We also have events organized on festivals like on Ugadi, Dussehra, etc. where the students as well as the faculty enjoy with happiness and peace. I am not part of any extracurricular activities club as I am dedicated to my studies of the course, which I have chosen i.e. Computer Science & Engineering. I have the best hostel life even with good roommates where we care for each other like family.
