JNVU Jodhpur has Affordable Fee Structure for B.Sc

This is the best university for higher studies like Bachelors and Masters. It is one of the biggest universities of Western Rajasthan. It has a wide base of 300+ colleges affiliated to it. I have chosen B.Sc in Zoology because I was a student of science in 12th. I was part of one of its affiliated colleges in Barmer for my B.Sc. course. Exam process is somehow difficult and it requires lot of studies to pass in exams.

Overall academic of JNVU Jodhpur is good. When I studied there, faculties were good. There are no eligibility criteria for its affiliated colleges. However, for one of its university, there is a process in which students who have applied and have higher percentages, get admission on merit basis. Exams were conducted for us one time in year. Now, with start of semester, exam it is conducted 2 times in year.

Fee structure is good and was affordable. When I joined my college, which was affiliated to JNVU, I paid Rs. 18,000 per year. There were extra fees for each year’s exam and we have paid Rs. 2,100 for 3 years (exam fees only). There is no scholarship available for any students.

Faculties were good and very nice but college management was not so supportive. Faculties had good experience any they were well qualified. They were from science background with Master’s in different subjects. Their teaching methods were good and helpful because of which we were able to study and pass through exams. They helped us in every way possible in solving issues related to academics and other issues too. There is good amount of teachers available for every subject. There are many faculties with 20+ years of experience.

I have no idea about placement in this university because there were no placement related activities or any type of process for placement done.

Jai Narayan Vyas University has hostel facilities, which are good for students. However, they are very old and not well maintained because of the management. Food is good. Mess is good and mostly hygienic.

Campus of Jai Narayan Vyas University is very big. It is spread across 50+ acres and contains different departments with separate buildings for academics and operations. There were facilities like library, sports ground, canteen, and conference hall. Infrastructure of this campus is good and old with aesthetic feels.

Overall, my campus life experience was good and I enjoyed every day at my college. There was good amount of crowd of students there. Some events like voting for college secretary are the most helping process, which is mainly of 20+ days. Extracurricular activities like cultural programs were also organised throughout the year for helping students to get good amount of extra experience for their further life. There are many good clubs too. Some fests like Farewell, Convocation, etc are most celebrated events of this university. It is situated inside the city of Jodhpur containing different campuses, which are located near each other.
