Silver Oak University: Quality Education from Best Staff

Overall Rating
Silver Oak University provides quality education where faculties are experienced professionals having expertise in various fields beyond books. They organize educational trips to various industries, which helps in gaining practical knowledge. In short I can say that this university is good and I can recommend to others. I have chosen this university because they provide quality education help students in enhancing skills and knowledge. Academics are based on practical knowledge.
 

Academics Rating
In MBA, faculties make us understand topics with the help of case studies, which helps us in critical thinking and problem solving. They are approachable and willing to clear doubts during office hours. The faculties are dedicated and knowledgeable. The teaching style is very simple, clear makes us complex topics easy to understand. They are open to questions and encourage student’s participation. They also provide mentorship which helps students in educational and personal development
Fee of MBA is Rs. 84,000 per year and caution money deposit is Rs. 10,000. Scholarships are provided to SC & ST category students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very much experienced in their respective fields. Teaching methods includes Blackboards, projectors for PPTs and they organize group discussions, debates that enhance student participation. Faculties are very friendly with students. They help in solving doubts and guides students. They are very supportive.
 

Placement Rating
The training and placement cell helps in successfully securing placements for the students. Placement cell has managed around 75% placements in the university. They conduct campus placement offers, mock interviews, provides training for campus recruitment, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Although I am not a resident of Silver Oak University hostel, but I can say that facilities are quite good according to what I have heard from my classmates who are living in the university hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is quite good which includes campus, food court, auditoriums, library, seminar halls, etc. Library is so big and has every book related to studies of various courses. There is an availability of modern technology like smart boards and projectors. There are many computer labs available for students. There is proper maintenance of classroom and labs are done. Solar panels are installed for energy saving and sustainability. Safety of students is ensured. Overall infrastructure is good.
 

Campus Rating
University organizes various events like 'Junoon' and celebrates festivals in campus gives students enjoyment and memories with their friends. These kind of events help in enhancing social skills of students. They can display their talent as it gives a platform to show their talent to everyone. Events are a big part for students through events and celebration. You can enjoy college life creating memories. It enhances student participation and improves teamwork skills

    Regular lectures start at 10 AM from 3rd semester. Each subject has lab sessions of 2 hours based on the lecture credits. The overall experience as a student has been good except few things such as Assignment allocation time and workload in the month of examination. We are given assignments of almost all the subjects before the Mid-Sem Examination which increases the workload and the festival holidays follows after mid sem exams resulting into more pressure during end sem exams....     The university fee is expensive. The faculties are highly educated and skilled but some of them are not up to the mark. The canteen of the university is spacious and is always crowded with people.
