Pachhunga University College: Best NIRF ranking in North-East India

Overall Rating
I chose this college as it has the best NIRF ranking in the northeast part of India. It has a wide variety of courses providing flexibility to the students to choose the particular subject that she or he is interested in. The infrastructure of the college is better than of the other colleges in the state and also there is enough space for further development.
 

Academics Rating
I am a second semester of Bachelor of Arts (Psychology). I joined this College through the CUET (Common University Entrance Test). It conducts frequent internal tests to ensure consistent academic assessment. Furthermore, the college and its teaching faculties make sure that students are being taught in a very practical way such that it is easy for every students (both sharp and dull), understand the concept, and perform well in examination.
The fee varies in every semester for Humanities. In the first semester, it was around Rs. 6,000. In second, it was around Rs. 7,000. So yeah if I take an average then it is around Rs. 13,000 per year. There is no special discount.
 

Faculty Rating
Each faculty member of every department is inclusive. Both teaching & the non-teaching staff are capable and very efficient in their duties. They are highly educated. They are also supportive and helpful to the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure and college compound is my favorite part of Pachhunga University College. It has enough space for all the department rooms and classes. Every building has good number of classrooms with proper seas and TLM (Teaching Learning Material) so that the teaching and learning process is highly efficient. The labs of the college are also well equipped.
 

Campus Rating
My college life in Pachhunga University College is very engaging and active with a number of existing clubs such that the students gets to join the club of their interests. Since, there are a number of courses being offered in this college, there is a huge crowd surpassing 5000 inclusive of the students, teachers, and also staff members from all the different departments. In addition, the college organises fest and event such as college week.

    My overall experience at the Pachhunga University College is quite moderate. The factors that made me choose the college is that the NIRF rank is quite good. So if you are from northeast, you can join the college.
