My Perception of Academics in GEHU Bhimtal: Curriculum, Staff, & Placements

Overall Rating
Firstly, GEHU Bhimtal is all-good. Curriculum activities and the campus placement are good here. The quality of education is also good. It provides various new things, which will help the students to develop their skills and creativity. This university is much better as compared to the other
 

Academics Rating
My course is Bachelors of Computer Application. This is a very good course if you are willing to develop your skills in IT sector and has to learn various coding languages so you should have this course. It also offers placements in various giants companies like DeShaw, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, HCL tech and many more. A candidate can have both Praticals as well as theory knowledge so if you are interested in Computer science you can pursue this course.
The fee of my course is Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000 based on 10th and 12th class performance. In addition, if we are depositing the whole year fee, then the university offers a 5% discount. The fee includes all the charges i.e. exam fee, transport fee, lab fee, sports fee and many more.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are good. The background of all the members is good and has done the PhD. Their method of teaching is also good. They help us to learn new concepts. They also share PPTs and notes through which the student can learn and go through it. Mostly, all faculties have good problem solving skills and all are very helpful to the students.
 

Placement Rating
In our university, there is a placement cell. It helps to students to get in touch with the companies to the students and plays a crucial role during the placement activities. The placement experience was all good. The average package is 3 Lakh Per Annum and the highest is 4 Lakh Per Annum.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our university offers residential facilities like hostels, mess, etc. There are approximately 8 to 9 hostels for boys and at the same 8 to 9 hostels for girls. The girls and boys hostels are separate. Hostel fee can be paid semester or yearly based on the students. The hostel rules are strict to ensure the safety of the students. Mostly girls in timing are after 8 PM no entry for both boys and girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is good. It has approximately 60 to 70 classes in our building and 14 to 15 lecture theater rooms. University also provides library to the students. Approximately 13 to 14 labs of Computer are there. Besides this, there are many more labs like Chemistry, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, and many more are there. Sport facilities are also available here.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is good. Our university has 8,000 to 10,000 students. So the classes run in three shifts. The university timings are from 8 AM and up to 6 PM. It also organizes annual fests 2 times in a year. Besides this like in festival Navratri, there is a Dandiya night also. Events are organised basically on daily basis means that every department has one event and then next week the other department has the event.
