Faculty at Chandigarh University: Expertise and Teaching Approach

My overall experience in Chandigarh University is really very good. I really enjoyed in this university. The infrastructure of this university is really very nice. I will recommend everyone to join Chandigarh University because the academics of this university are really very good. This is accredited with NAAC++ grade. You will find many more good things in this university.

My course is Bachelor of Engineering. I choose this course because my dream is to become a software engineer. The entry requirements of this university are that you have to give the entrance exam of Chandigarh University that is CUCET and you can also have scholarship through this entrance exam. Eligibility requirement is that you have to pass in all subjects of class 12th. There should be no backlogs in any of your subject, only then you will be eligible to get admission in Chandigarh University. In one year there are 2 sem and in every sem we have practical exams MSTs and EST. There are 2 MST and 1 EST and also in every 15 days there are graded assessments which are taken. These academics prepare me for real life very well.

The fees for BE is Rs. 2, 40,000 per year at Chandigarh University, that means Rs. 1, 20,000 per semester. Also in every sem you have to pay Rs. 2,500 for your examination fees. Registration fees are Rs. 1,100 for this university. No special discount but you will get scholarship if you sit in the entrance exam of Chandigarh University that is CUCET. You can also get 100% scholarship. You can also apply for sports quota and management quota here.

The faculty members of Chandigarh University are really good. they treat us like their friends or siblings. The background of faculty members is that they are also well educated. they all have done masters in their own background. Their method of teaching is really very good. They provide us ppt or notes, also every week group discussion are conducted. The teacher makes sure that we understand every single thing. They solve each and every problem which we can’t; they help us in very little things also. The bonding with our teachers is really good. Even if you want to contact them at night they will reply to you as soon as possible. The faculty is really nice and approachable they make sure that their students understand each and every thing. My academic experience is really very nice.

Placements are really very good in Chandigarh University. From 5th sem onwards you will be able to sit in placement. There are many cells present in our university which help us in how to sit in placement. We have rounds for our placement. Firstly our resume will be selected and then we will qualify for our 2nd round that is technical round and then we have our GD round and then we have our HR round then we will get selected. The highest package of last year of our university is 56 LPA. The placement is in our university is very good. Many top rated companies come to our university like Google, Microsoft, Virtusa, Accenture, Lenovo, PayPal, Shadi.Com, JP Morgon, and many more.

Chandigarh University provides residential facilities to its students. There are many hostels in our university and they all are very good. In every girls hostel there are 7 floors in each hostel and we have 8 girls hostel and in boys hostel there are 10-11 floors and there are many boys hostel. The hostel is very clean and good. There are many recreational facilities for the hostellers like they provide us gym, TV room, and study room also. Girl and boys hostel are separate. Mess food quality is really very good. They provide us food for 4 times that is breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. They annual fees of the hostel are Rs. 1, 20,000. Hostel rules for girls are that they have to enter hostel before 8'O clock and boys have to enter hostel before 10'O clock. Also for Saturday and Sunday they provide us a day out. In which we have to reach campus before 8'O clock. I am living in hostel since 2 years and my hostel name is LC my personal experience is really very good here. In short I am enjoying my hostel life.

The academic blocks and infrastructure of Chandigarh University is really cool and amazing. Our campus is of 225 acres and the locality is really very nice. The seating capacity of student in each class is 100 students max. Also they provide us 2 ACs and 4 fans in each class. Library of our university is really amazing. All types of books are available in the library. We have more that 20 auditoriums in our university and all of them are really good. Conference halls are also present here. Talking about canteen, there are too much cafeterias in our university and you can have food from anywhere. For sports, we have sports complex in our university. Transport facility is also very good you can go anywhere in the campus just by paying Rs.10. Security of Chandigarh University is very strong.

My overall campus life is going really very good. Chandigarh University crowd is not that huge, it's moderate. There are too much clubs here and you can join any of them. I am part of singing club and I am doing really great there. There are too much extracurricular activities and you can participate in any activity. There are too much engagement activities in our university life like Tech Invent, CU Fest, DJ Nights, and many more. Different festivals are celebrated in our university. My overall experience in Chandigarh University is good.
