My Overall Journey at PGDAV College (Evening) was Good

Overall Rating
My overall experience at PGDAV College is well and good. I enjoyed my college life, academic growth, and many more such activities. The college provides us very supportive environment for our growth and development. There are many such factors that made me to choose this college. The campus offers numerous opportunities to participate in cultural events, seminars and student societies.
 

Academics Rating
PGDAV College offers a great academic experience. As I am a student of commerce background, the course I have chosen is B.Com (Hons.). The eligibility to get admissions in this college is not much hard. I scored only 626 numbers in CUET entrance exam and I am from general category. The admission process in very simple. After fulfilling the eligibility you have to get your documents verified by the college and submit the fee. The exams are conducted semester wise that means two times in a year. The college academics offer you many opportunities to enter into different societies like Nepathya, Commerce Society, and so on.
As we talk about the fees structure we only had to pay the annual fee of approx. Rs. 16,500 to the college website online. Yes, there is special discount for students belonging to special categories like SC, ST, OBC, and EWS. PGDAV College also provides a scholarship form once in a year, where approx. Rs. 4,000 – Rs. 5,000 are offered to the deserving students.
 

Faculty Rating
The college faculties are very honest and helpful towards the students in all situations. There is Mr. Devdutt Bharti sir who used to teach us Accounts and Mrs. Sonia Dhingra mam who teaches us Management. I Like them both and they are among my favorite teachers. They were good at problem solving and the teaching methods used by them were also interesting. The teacher to student ratio here is 1:30.
 

Placement Rating
As we talk about the placement cell of PGDAV College, this college has a cell named “PGDAV College Placement Cell" that motivates and develops the students for placement and internship opportunities. They encourage students and teach us how to maintain professional body structure and focuses on our speaking and communication skills. The placement cell organises placement seminars time to time. The average package that companies provide is 4.67 LPA and the highest package they offered was almost 24 LPA in 2022 and 19 LPA in 2021.
 

Hostel Rating
The PGDAV College does not offer hostel facilities to students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The PGDAV College has well developed and managed campus area. There are 4 buildings overall in the campus that are divided into different categories. The main building consists of Staff offices, class room and 2 Libraries at the top floor. The class rooms are spacious to handle 50 students at a time. The canteen area is also very good and near to that there is a shed area where we rest and spend some time with friends. My most favorite thing is our accounts lab where we go for practicing.
 

Campus Rating
I am very excited to say that my overall campus life at PGDAV College is very exciting and fascinating. I and my friends enjoy each and every day of our college. The College has fest named ZEST which is held in March.

There is no such attendance issue (minimum 40%). environment is also good and all transportation means are nearby college.     The PGDAV College (evening) can be a great choice for the students willing to be a part of the University of Delhi and want to live a peaceful and enjoyable life keeping studies side by side. The college has a great and pleasant campus with greenery everywhere. There are many areas in the campus for students to relax during study pressure; such as the cafeteria, coke ground, badminton court, main ground and medicinal plants park.
