Netaji Subhas University of Technology: Excellent Infrastructure and Facilities

Overall Rating
Netaji Subhas University of Technology is best in respect to coding culture. Here there are lot of societies and constant events happening related to tech field and the course is well designed for the tech branches in terms of subjects including DSA, CP, and DBMS. The university infrastructure is nice and it is overall very well connected with all modes of transport and located in between main location of Delhi. Choosing this university in comparison to others is majorly due to its proven legacy in the field of tech and its location in Delhi.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled in CSAI course B.Tech degree. Admission is done on the basis of JEE Mains AIR through JAC Counselling process which is the counselling committee of NSUT, DTU, IGDTUW, IIITD, and DSEU. The cutoff for CS branches in this university goes high and the crowd is nice. There are lots of exams and CTs throughout the semester consisting of Midsem, Endsem Exam, practical and viva. The academics are well designed in terms of current job market and present tech industry including AI.
The fees of Netaji Subhas University of Technology are a little bit high of about Rs.18,00,000 combined for all 4 years of course. It includes the fees of tuition, institute, infrastructure, hostel and mess fees. There are registration fees of around Rs.1,00,000 during the time of counselling. There are various scholarships consisting both government and private that are opened on timely basis for students to apply.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is highly knowledgeable in their field. They are highly trained and smart in the core subjects they tech. they generally are from teaching backgrounds with holding Ph.D degrees in their domain. They mostly teach on whiteboard using Ppts. They are proficient in their subject and at problem solving. There are approximately 100 students in a batch. They are strict and highly old school type of teachers with teaching in mostly bookish language only and through their notes only.
 

Placement Rating
There is a training and placement cell present in Netaji Subhas University of Technology. They help students of different branches to acquire placements in their desired industry. There are varieties of companies visiting our campus every year including FAANG, Fintech Companies, Zomato, Swiggy, etc. There is an average package of around 20 LPA from CS branch. The highest package could go up to 1 Crore per annum.
 

Hostel Rating
There is hostel facility in the campus of Netaji Subhas University of Technology only separate for boys and girls. There are about 200 students in each hostel. There are strict hostel rules and regulations to be followed by the residents. The mess food is not very good but overall nice. The overall experience of hostel is great.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the entire campus of Netaji Subhas University of Technology is nice. There is a canteen and mother diary in the university campus. There are various sports activities in the university with proper equipment. There is a gym in the university and also a student activity center for students to chill and hang out. There are smart blocks for study and conducting classes. There is a main auditorium in the university for society’s events. There is a nice well maintained Computer lab with fast WIFI connectivity.
 

Campus Rating
Overall university life is great. There is a well educated crowd who are ambitious and studious. There are various societies and clubs in the university comprising of tech and non tech fields like NSS and NCC. There are various events happening all throughout the year for the students. There is an annual cultural fest named MOKSHA which is organised at large scale every year in the month of March and also there is inter university event for the university students only, named Resonanze.

    NSUT New Delhi has been hands-down the best university I could get. Being a JEE aspirant, I always aimed at the tier -1 universities.
