Life at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Basar

Overall Rating
Firstly, the campus of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Basar is very large in area. The infrastructure of the university is very good. The government provides free scholarship for students studying in the university. It is 2+4 years course, 2 years for pre university course and 4 years for B.Tech. The campus has a very peaceful environment and it is full of greenery. The faculty is well educated and the labs are also well equipped.
 

Academics Rating
The entry into this campus is made based upon the marks obtained in POLYCET examination which is conducted by the Telangana government. In PUC there are semester exams and for each semester there are mids, lab internals and lab externals. The exams are not conducted by the Telangana board. Based on the CGPA in PUC your branch will be allotted in B.Tech.
Students who get seat in the university will get a scholarship from the Telangana government; scholarship is only for those whose parents are not government employees. Apart from that you have to pay semester examination fees.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Basar is very well educated and is friendly with students. The faculty members should also stay in the campus. There are separate apartments provided for the faculty and their family members. In PUC they teach on the blackboard and coming to B.Tech they will provide laptops for each and every student. The faculty teaches using projector.
 

Hostel Rating
All the students have to stay in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is very large in area. There are separate blocks for each department and separate block for pre intermediate course students. There is a student activity centre which has auditorium, yoga hall, badminton court, kabaddi court, and many more. There is a big cricket ground, basketball court and volleyball court. There are both library and digital libraries which are available 24 hours. There is a mall in the campus where we can get all the necessary items. All the labs are also well equipped and labs in charges are also well educated.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs in the university like NSS, dance club, singing club and many more. The university is very crowded as there are students from intermediate 1st year to B.Tech 4th year and many of the faculty members and their family also stays in the campus. Many events are organised in the university like Bathukamma Celebrations, Ganesh Chaturthi, Farewell Parties, Fresher Parties, etc. The campus life is very good. We can enjoy a lot with our friends here.

    I joined RGUKT Basar Nirmal after tenth by writing entrance test named TG POLYCET. Actually, we joined this university in a different way. University takes new students based on their class 10th CGPA. During my time of admission, most of the students passed SSC with high CGPA during pandemic.     The students are selected by GPA scored in 10th. It mainly encourages students from government schools and rural background to pursue an integrated B.Tech which is provided here. When matter comes about the facilities then it is best of all state colleges as laptops, uniforms, lab shoes, etc. are provided in the first year of engineering.... Read Full Review

    RGUKT Basar Nirmal is a good university to study B.Tech. We can go for hackathons and participate to improve our skills. It helps to get placement in final year with a good package. One can get good GATE ranks With proper guidelines. Students can participate in national level games. Students have to do mini project, major project, and summer intern.
