Insights on Life of a Student at Sarala Birla University, Ranchi

Overall Rating
I choose this university because it is one of the best universities in our city for providing placement and the infrastructure is also good. The fees structure is also reasonable, it is not too high.
 

Academics Rating
I had chosen Bachelor of Commerce at Sarala Birla University because I want to build my carrier in finance. There is no such eligibility criterion for admission. The admission process is very easy. Students can directly visit the University and take admission by depositing the requisite fees and that's all. Exams are conducted in every 2.5 months and whole semester will be completed in less than 6 months. The academic will not really prepare you for real life challenge but will provide you some insights.
The fee for my course at Sarala Birla University is Rs. 17,850 semester wise and year wise it will be Rs. 35,700. The tuition fee is Rs. 14,950; Development fee is Rs. 1,500; exam fee is Rs. 1,000; ICT fee is Rs. 400; Caution Money is Rs. 5000; and application form fee is Rs. 1000. Yes, discount is provided according to the marks you have scored in 12th class and there is also merit based scholarship which starts from 2nd year.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members at Sarala Birla University are really good. Most of them have done Ph.D in their respective field and are very well mannered. Most of the teacher’s teaching style is PPT, group discussion, etc. Problem solving skill of the faculty is also good. If any student asks any doubt then they solve the doubt within the class only. Teacher student ratio is 1:60. My experience with faculty is really good. They are friendly and easily approachable.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in Sarala Birla University. They try to invite many companies as possible for placement drive. Companies that visit our university are TCS, Accenture, EY, Godrej, Axis Bank, and Dmart. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA and average package is 6 LPA.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 7 floors in our academic building and there are total 2 buildings and other 2 are under construction. The whole campus is spread in 60 acres. The seating capacity of a classroom is of 70 students. There is library, labs, seminar halls, Auditorium, Conference hall, etc. in the campus. There are 2 canteens in our university and transport facilities are also available here. There are a lot of security guards in the campus. There is a big ground for sports here. My favorite place in the campus is canteen.
 

Campus Rating
My Overall experience at Sarala Birla University is good. The university crowd is decent. There are many clubs like photography, dance, music, literature, etc. in the university. Various extracurricular activities are frequently organized by university like photography competition, quiz competition, dance competition, debate and many more. There is 1 tech fest which is organized annually, it is called Tech Pragati. Apart from this, a fresher’s party is also organised and a Sports competition is also held here once a year.

    I choose this collage because in Ranchi after BIT Mesra, I found Sarla Birla University to be the one to complete my B.Tech degree. There is no sort of indiscipline or misbehave tolerated.   • Good college with decent learning atmosphere and on campus placements

    Overall, I would rate this college 8/10. The best thing about this college is its placement records and the teachers with great education. Adding to this, we have all the basic facilities such as library, canteen etc with a world class campus and discipline.     Sarala Birla University is one of the top private universities in Ranchi. The overall experience at the institute is quite good. I had chosen SBU as it has great infrastructure and a very big campus along with good campus records.     The infrastructure and facilities are one of the main factors that made me choose this university. I had to face no interviews or written tests before admission. Although, there is an interview for document verification. Students have to submit their documents and get it verified for the further admission process.
