My Journey at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada

Overall Rating
Life at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada is better. I choose this university as it is nearer to my home town. In this university Electronics and Communication Engineering branch is best for the students as this branch have more number of regular and experienced faculties. As it is government University with NBA accreditation, education and teaching are good here.
 

Academics Rating
I choose this course as I am interested in electronics. Faculties in our university are Ph.D graduates and have done specializations in various subjects. They also published different research papers. Each semester is of 6 months. The campus of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada is very good as it is situated far from the city on the mountain. Admission process of the university is through the EAPCET entrance exam after 12th and cut off for ECE branch is 12000 this year. For M.Tech and MCA, the students should qualify the PGCET exam.
The Tuition fee at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada for my course is Rs. 10,000 yearly and special fee is Rs. 500 per year. At admission time we have to pay Rs. 5,000 initially as admission fees. JVD scholarship eligible candidates get tuition fees from the government and the non -JVD students pay their own fees. For sem exam Rs. 770 are to be paid as exam fees.
 

Faculty Rating
I have chosen Electronics and Communication Engineering branch, and it has more number of regular faculty compared other branches. The faculty and student relationship is good. Every faculty has done their Ph.D and researches in their respective fields. Teacher student ratio is more compared to other universities. The methods of teaching of the faculty varies from person to person like some use blackboards, and some ppts. For the better communication they organise seminars, debates and conduct group discussions.
 

Placement Rating
Only 30% - 40% of students get placed from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada. The highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Top companies recruiting for my course are MOSCHIP, Veda IIT, Cognizant, Larsen & Turbo, etc. The government provides internships for all the university students.
 

Hostel Rating
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada has hostel facilities for the students. The mess food is very good, and the hostel mess is run by the students only. Wi-Fi is also available in the hostels. Medical facilities are available in the hostels, and there are sports and games facilities provided as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus Life is good at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada. There is Dr.Y.S.R Central Library in our university which is having best books. Infrastructure is good and it has now become a university so the facilities are also improved. There is a seminar hall and academic blocks are also there for the students. The labs are well equipped with different equipment. There are two canteens in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The students at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Gurajada can participate in various clubs, workshops, societies and student branches. Clubs are like Vykhya, VLSI, etc. Every year technical fest is conducted on February and March month. At the end of academic year, an annual day and sports meet is conducted. Events are conducted on the special occasions like science day, university foundation day, etc.
